INK Tattoo

Abby is a wonderful tattoo artist! She communicates well before the appointment and is very open about working with you on a design. Then, the actual tattoo is so good!! I love it so much and I get compliments all the time such as "woah, that line work" and, "the shading on your tattoo is so good" I can't recommend INK enough.

Abby was amazing from start to finish! She responded quickly when I reached out to her for a consult. She listened to exactly what I wanted, and was able to combine my ideas with her own, to create two tattoos that I'm in love with. I get more compliments on the two tattoos I've gotten from her, than any of my others. Abby was great at making me feel comfortable in her chair, and we had a great time chatting and laughing through the whole appointment. I cannot wait to get back in her chair. If you're considering getting some ink, I cannot recommend Abby enough!!

I’ve gotten 2 tattoos from Abby, and both came out even better than I was expecting. Her lettering is crisp, straight, and even and she’s got a great eye for color. For my first tattoo at Ink, Abby was patient and supportive while I had a mini-meltdown in the chair and the finished tattoo came out awesome. Ink is a calm, fun, welcoming environment and I’d recommend it to anybody who wants a rad tattoo

I've gotten several pieces done by Abby. She comes up with phenomenal designs and is really great about taking feedback and modifying the drawing until you love it.

The actual tattoos that she's done for me are all wonderful; lines are crisp, colors are bold, shading is great.

I completely love this tattoo shop! I have gotten two tattoos done by Abby (who is amazing at art/tattooing and is a wonderfully funny and a kind person as well) and both of my parents have had tattoos done by Abby and my boyfriend had a tattoo done by Jill. They are both EXTREMELY professional and are great at making you feel comfortable during the process. They work with you to create art for your body which they then flawlessly transfer to your skin. This is the only shop I will go to in the Twin Ports. I recommend this shop to anyone and everyone who wants a great tattoo at great prices accompanied by friendly artists.

I had a botanical cover-up tattoo done by Abby a couple years ago that still brings me joy every time I see it. I got a small tattoo on my back in college (ironically also at a skip in Superior) that was an outward expression of an inside pain. It served its purpose for a long time, but I decided I wanted to turn it into a garden to commemorate my mom's birthday ten years after she died. So clearly, there was a lot of emotion going into this tattoo.

Abby did a phenomenal job taking the ideas I'd sent to her and assembling them into a cohesive design. We went over that design together on arrival, made a couple adjustments, and then she got to work.

I made it through about three and a half hours and was amazed to find that during that time, she'd done all the outlining and shading in the style I wanted. At the time, I wasn't sure if I wanted color and I was to the point where I needed a break (tattoos are pretty darn painful after all), so she wrapped up a few details and we called it a day.

I followed all the after care instructions and everything stayed beautiful and intact. I decided to keep it black for now, but at some point I may go back and add some color or extra line work.

But in the meantime, I've been super happy with the results. I'd go to Abby again in a heartbeat; she listened to what I wanted, the cover-up was 100% successful, she was super nice and professional, and did a fabulous job on something really meaningful for me.

I have multiple (8!) tattoos from Abby. She has worked very hard to beautifully execute my odd requests. Her eye for color is impressive and she is a perfectionist who obviously takes great pride in her work. The drive from the Twin Cities is worth it! The shop is a friendly oasis for people like me who find tattoo shops cold and intimidating. I have recommended Abby (and Jill!) to friends and will continue to do so!

Five stars for the shop and the artist! Very clean and welcoming WOMEN-OWNED business. Abby is a brilliant artist and a top notch tattooer. She took my basic idea and came up with a design that was way cooler than I had envisioned in my head. She's got some great ideas, including creative ways to add color to my black and white piece should I ever decide to do so. Will go back for more!

My niece got a tattoo here done by Abby about 3 months ago. The line work has random dots in it, and the ends of lines are just broken and taper off almost like its dotted. The lettering is also blown out. She however said she liked the tattoo, and that Abby was very nice and made her comfortable, and designed the piece how she wanted. She’s recently tried to book another appointment, and they just simply won’t reply to emails, I don’t know what the deal is with that but it seems pretty unprofessional.

There are no words to describe my love for these phenomenal artists and their shop. When I walk in and am greeted by Abby and Jill and their sick beats (check spotify for the best curated playlists) I never want to leave!

Abby had done all 4 of my tattoos..they're perfect and stunning and I love working with her to make my tattoo dreams come true.
