I got a couple tattoos here a few years ago. They look really nice and I enjoyed my experience. The atmosphere was friendly and the artists were nice. This was when I was in college. I went to college in River Falls, so it was a pretty short walk to the studio, which made it very simple to set something up. At this time, I gave the place 5 stars.
I don't live in River Falls anymore, but I would still like to get tattooed. I submitted an inquiry through the "contact us" section of their website multiple weeks ago. Shortly after, having received no indication that they got the message, I checked the website and saw that it was completely different. I thought perhaps I happened to catch them in the middle of renovating their website and my message may have gotten lost in the change. So I went to the new "contact us" section and wrote an email to the address provided. Again, I received no response. At this point, I wondered if I was just being impatient. Maybe they had a lot of messages to go through. Out of curiosity and boredom, I decided to check the website again. I discovered that the reason the website had changed was because they actually have two live websites. I had filled a form on one, used the provided email on the other, and gotten responses from neither. What business needs two websites?
This is what spurred me to update my review and take off two stars. "But why didn't you try calling them on the phone?" Phone anxiety is quite common among people my age. I have already made two failed attempts to contact them. I am generally of the belief that any company unwilling to embrace the digital age is not worth my time. It is clear they are trying, otherwise they would have zero websites rather than two, but they're very bad at it. Even outside of their websites, they never post or update anything on their social media pages. They are a word-of-mouth shop only, so if you don't live nearby, you're not getting a tattoo.

This place is the best! They do excellent work and the entire staff is down to earth, professional, and easy to have conversations with which is a major part of the process! I've had many tattoos done there and each one is beyond what I expected. Bring your ideas and let them put their spin on it. You won't regret it!

Amazing tattoo for an amazing price! My artist (Greg Ellyson) was incredibly talented. I got exactly what I wanted, and it was done very, very well. The folks that work there are friendly and it's easy to feel at home. I'll definitely be going back.

Had a great experience here! I wish I knew what my artist's name was because he was great! I made an appointment and was walked through the whole tattoo process when I got there and both experiences with staff were great! Definitely worth the drive from Woodbury.

Went in for my first tattoo today. My artist (I believe was Greg but I could be wrong) was kind and welcoming and very understanding about how nervous I was. He was supportive and kept saying "you got this" and other things. I gave him a basic idea and some words I wanted and let him do what he wanted, and I was not dissapointed. He was patient while I squirmed and swore and was an overall wuss about it. I will definitely be back, and soon.

This place is amazing. Called a couple hours (from MN) before with four tattoos and three piercings for multiple people and Greg (I think is his name, could be wrong) took us all in, did an AMAZING job on all of our tats and piercings and was so patient with us and finished in 2 hours. I had an awesome experience here. It was simple, friendly atmosphere, neatly decorated with relevant stuff, not at all tacky. Got an appoitment same day. All of my questions were answered with a kind attitude. Fast process. I was in and out in ten minutes. I highly recommend this tattoo parlor for anybody looking to get a peircing.
