Got an awesome Harry Potter tattoo from AJ! Riverwest Tattoo is everything you need from a tattoo shop: clean, polite, and accurate. It's been just over a year since I was here for my tattoo and since have gone back with a friend for their tattoo. Highly recommend.

I loved my time at Riverwest Tattoo! I got a large side tattoo that took many sittings (4 total). Every time I went in everyone was very friendly. My artist, John Tierney, did an amazing job drawing up my tattoo and giving me exactly what I wanted, a very unique and personal tattoo. I will be going back there for my next tattoo and would recommend going there even for walk-ins. Photo to come once it's all healed!!!

Went in for a walk in for some simple lettering a couple weeks ago and my tattoo looks horrible. I know how to take care of tattoos I have a bunch so it wasn’t my aftercare. The lines are horrible and the shading in the inside of the letters is splotchy and not even. Smh I should not have paid $125 for this.

So what do you do when your tattoo artist moves to another shop? If he is good you follow him and John Tierney is effin amazing!! I couldn't be happier about the shop he moved to as well. The shop is clean, well laid out and has a real eclectic atmosphere. Got there a little early and one of the other artist's Chris aka Honesty was extremely pleasant and friendly. Since I got there early Honesty showed me this cool café that was only a block away with some pretty good food. I paged through some of the other artist's portfolio's and they all had amazing work, especially Chris Burke's realism. If you go here you won't be disappointed by their friendliness, shop atmosphere and art work. Only downfall for me is that I'll be spending more gas but it is totally worth it!!!!

I came across Zach tattoo pictures and I choose to hit him up since I was going to be in town for a couple days.
He is very professional very welcoming.
The piece he did on me looks amazing ..I am in love with all the colors and the design itself .
I'm glad I came into this shop everyone is so nice and friendly. .and it's a very clean organized shop.
Hands down the best experience especially cuz Zach had a lot of patience with me towards the in cuz I was moving (I can't sit still).....
The others tatoo artists like John and the lady I think Gina are awesome too.

Riverwest is a great shop if you're looking for a custom tattoo and an artist who is going to do his best to see your vision. I followed John Tierney from his last shop and I'm glad I did. All of a Riverwest's artists do amazing work and are quickly becoming the go to shop in Milwaukee. If you want a tattoo that you'll never regret and want to show off, and artist who pride themselves on the quality of their work; this is the place!
