My friend and I recently got tattoos done by Tara and I am so glad that we did. The atmosphere was great and everyone was so nice! Tara made me feel right at home and did an amazing job on my tattoo. This place is very clean and they gave me thorough instructions on after care. My tattoo is healing beautifully. I can't wait to come back and get more work done someday!

Lost Lakes is a great place to receive your tattoo. Their whole staff is full of incredible artists, but I recommend Lady B. She produces some of the most beautiful tattoos I’ve ever seen and I feel lucky to be one of the few to have my own. They keep the building very clean and make safety their first priority. Everyone is very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.

He spent more than an hour with me on the consult to find and design something that we were both excited about and his artistic ability is really exceptional. He was super accommodating with scheduling and payment, is a great communicator, and made me feel very comfortable during the whole process. Highly recommend!

I had such a lovely, positive experience with tattoo artist Tara! From concept to execution, Tara's talent and skills were exceptional. Her warm, friendly demeanor makes her easy to talk to, which is kinda important if you're spending a couple hours with someone! Lost Lakes has a real cool vibe, simultaneously laid back and professional. Based on my observations, all the artists were inviting to clients and super supportive of one another. Nice to walk into a place that's clean, has great music, and staff that seems like a big loving family!

I had my tattoo done by Jake. He was a really friendly guy above all. We talked extensively about the design and got opinions from his peers at the shop. I'm very satisfied with the result.
The shop is clean and has a good atmosphere. The only drawback to lost lakes is that that all the artists are booked up for so long, so call sooner than later to set up a consultation!

I had such an amazing experience at Lost Lakes Tattoo with Tara! She's super approachable, friendly, kind, good listener and an overall really thoughtful artist! My sternum tattoo turned out amazing, I'm so thankful for Tara's creative design and flawless execution! I really enjoyed working with Tara, I felt that the process was super collaborative which I haven't experienced with other locations in Madison. The overall environment of the place seemed super supportive (among the artists) and conducive to creativity, so while I haven't gotten a tattoo from any of the other artists, I would definitely feel comfortable doing so/recommending them to a friend.
