Kayla is so so talented and kind!! I highly recommend getting your tattoo done here, their talent is well worth the price (and it's pretty inexpensive imo) and they truly listen to you. I will be coming back for sure. :)

I.took my best friend to midwest to get her very first tattoo and my 3rd, Jordan couldn't have been more easy going. "There was something comforting about him." Were my friends exact words after getting the nerve wrecking new tattoo.
This place was clean and super thorough on cleanliness. A lot of tattoo parlors can be intimidating but Midwest was welcoming from the moment we walked into the door.
We shall be back!

I went there to get my very first tattoo and I had the picture of what I wanted and I know where to put it. When I made my mind my mind is fully set, but then when i show the tattoo artist the picture I wanted. He judge my picture and wanted to change the picture. Instead of giving me advice he lecture me for a whole 30 mintues. Now I have waste my time on this dude. He did not have a good reason why he want to change it and then he wants to put it on my thigh. Now he has gone too far. I really wish this tattoo artist will not judge other people tattoo and try to change it because it's like telling someone to change who they are. He then lied to me that all tattoo artist in eau claire charge by the hour. So I just look at him and told him this isn't going to work and I'm now leaving. As I walk out the door I saw this place called artisan tattoo. They treated me with respect and they are very friendly. For anyone who is thinking about going to midwest tattoo. I suggest you to walk pass that place and go somewhere else to save the head ache for a just a simple tattoo.

I got my first tattoo here and it went so much better than anticipated. I was referred by a friend to go here and it just seemed like the right choice, the shop was very clean and welcoming. I don't think I would go or recommend anywhere else in Eau Claire!

Physically the artists did a good job on both my boyfriends and my tattoo but the tattoo designs sucked. First of all, my Tattoo was WAY to simplified and I know I okayed it before it was tattooed on but still, they are supposed to be ARTISTS. Second of all, they spelt "drum" instead of "dream" om my boyfriends tattoo. Two times in a row they messed up, not okay since these tattoos will be on us for the rest of our lives.
