I've been a client at Wild Zero since I was 18. I waited until I was of age to get my first tattoo by them. I have not been disappointed by them once. I've listened to their suggestions without any questioning most times and each time it's turned out great. If you are a first timer, here's something to keep in mind. The artists there are not rude, they have been tattooing for years and have experience in what they do. If it seems like they are criticizing your idea, it's probably for the better, even if it comes out harsh. They know what they are doing. It's not because they want you to think your idea is "stupid" or anything like that. The artists are simply going to blunt about everything. It's how they do things. Once you've been there a few times, and you get to talk to the people that work there, you just understand why they are forward. It's because they take pride in what they do and they don't want their artwork being misrepresented. The quality of the tattoos are very well done, long-lasting, and very unique. If you want to go get a tattoo that will fade away in a year, go to another shop. But if you want the best of the best in Morgantown. Suck it up. Take the suggestions. Go to Wild Zero Studios.

Loved the experience here! Everyone was helpful, pleasant, but not afraid to express their limitations (which I definitely prefer, to avoid ending up with a crappy tattoo). They took the design that I initially wanted, and drew up one that captured the spirit of the design but that would work at the size that I wanted it. Christos is amazing! He has worked with both my wife and I on several occassions and is very knowledgable and talented. He takes the time to provide expert insight to make sure that your design (or his) fits what you are looking for. The bottom line is that he ensures that he educates you in regards to your decision. Some people may take this as offensive or opinionated, but I appreciate his passion for providing only quality work. The staff in general are personable and accommodating and the environment is clean and sanitary.

I'll begin this review by noting that the only reason this studio warrants 3 stars is because of my past experiences with them, not current. I am a 26 year old female who has received 3 stellar tattoos at Wild Zero. I left WV in 2009 and have waited years for another tattoo until I was able to go back to Wild Zero to get their work done again. On July 5th, I made an appointment with Rhodes for a simple, script tattoo. I arrived early with multiple images, a clear idea of what I wanted and an open mind. When I met Rhodes, he was unfriendly and hurried. I explained my vision - to which Rhodes had ZERO questions and he sent me on my way so that he could "work up" something for me. He asked me to come back in 5 hours. Since I no longer live in the area, I successfully drove around Morgantown and killed 5 hours with my patient parents in the car. I went back to the studio 10 minutes early to see what he had drawn up for me. I was unbelieveably HORRIFIED to see that this 'artist' had 'drawn up' the ugliest script tattoo in what looked like kindergarden-man-handwriting. This was absolutely nothing like I had explained with the words: Girly, script, petite, pretty. I was going to get this tattoo on my shoulder, near my FACE and this 'artist' draws the ugliest 3 words I have ever seen. I gave this man 5 hours to basically copy what I had brought to him, and all he produced was something he had quickly written on a piece of paper.

He then had the audacity to argue with me, telling me that what I wanted wasn't possible. I may be a tiny, 5-foot-tall, curly headed woman, but I am not NEW to the world of tattoos.

I left the studio without a tattoo and in tears because Rhodes did not respect me from the second he met me. He didn't take my requests seriously - as was evident in the work he showed me 5 hours later. Some may think this review is harsh, but I have never felt so disrespected in my 26 years of life. I wasted 5+ precious hours with my parents because of this unprofessional "artist".

It would have been nice to have been given an appointment with someone who feels comfortable with written tattoos, especially because I was very open about my wants and the fact that I was travelling 7 hours to come to them.

Zeb was very good, and quick but not in a bad way. I would recommend them for a quick walk-in appointment for sure

literally the worst!!! signed papers, put deposit money down for a specific day and time (an apt) and then they call an hour before my apt to cancel on me!! put money down to say hey i’m not gonna waste ur time and then they waste MINE!! 0 stars if i could

Super friendly here. They do amazing work. It is a little on the pricier side, but totally worth it for the work.

Awesome tattoos and the receptionist, Mason, was super nice! The vibe was very inviting and welcoming.

Justin is amazing! I wouldn't go to anyone else. His work speaks for it self and the place is super clean, very friendly staff. Looking forward to having more of his art work to show off!

Have been getting work done by Justin Hyde for years now. Started coming to this shop when he made he move here. Awesome place, clean and professional experience. Five stars.
