Ed did such an amazing job with my tattoo and making it exactly how i wanted! It was my first tattoo and he made sure i wasn’t super nervous the whole time!

I went to take heart because I heard good things about it and knew someone who had went here to get a tattoo and the work looked good. Unfortunately for me not so good. I went for a cover up of a tattoo that was dark and told him what I wanted. I asked repeatedly if the new tattoo was going to cover the old one and was told yes. My old tattoo is outlined in black and the new one has a red center. I was told they will use a high pigment red to cover the old tatt. During my session I took a few breaks and looked in the mirror and I kept asking what the lines are in the middle of the new tattoo and was told it was to make the flag appear as it’s waving. This is the only tattoo I had and I had got it about 19 years ago so I don’t know a lot about ink and cover ups so I trusted what I was told. After it was done I was charged $300. I went home and showed it to several people who told me that for one it is crooked and 2 they can see my old tattoo. Those lines I was told were to make a waving effect are actually lines from my old tattoo. The tattoo is crooked. I went to another tattoo shop and two of their best tattoo artist sat down with me to do a consultation and each one of them told me that whoever did my tattoo should have never even attempted to do it that red never covers black and he should’ve known that not only that but that the tattoo is crooked and they couldn’t believe that he actually let me walk out of his shop with this tattoo. In order to fix this tattoo I have to have it lasered off I just had my first laser session and have to go back for more. I was told since he used high pigment red that it’s going to be very difficult to get the color out. I will have to have multiple sessions and it’s going to cost a lot of money and pain. Laser removal hurts just Incase anyone wants to know. I had to get numbing shots. All because he didn’t know what he was doing. I was lied to. I want to make it very clear that I constantly ask this tattoo Artist what the lines were and if this tattoo was going to cover my old one I probably asked him about five times during my session and he told me yes it will cover the old tattoo. I have nothing good to say about

Joe does an amazing job on all of our tattoos. He is a great tattoo artist. The parlor is clean and welcoming.
