Union Ave Tattoo Company: A Place for Military and Civilians Alike

Union Ave Tattoo Company is a tattoo shop located in Lakewood, Washington. The shop specializes in body arts and has a primary category of tattoo shop. The shop is open seven days a week, but the hours are not available.

The shop has received mixed reviews from customers. Some customers have had a great experience and have praised the shop for its professionalism, cleanliness, and talented artists. One customer said, "Steve did an amazing job on taking my ideas and turning them into reality, highly recommend, friendly and proficient at what they do. Will definitely be going back for more." Another customer praised the shop for being military and veteran-friendly, "They are extremely military/vet friendly the apprentice that did mine is actually a vet so it was nice being able to have military conversations while it was being done."

However, some customers have had negative experiences with the shop. One customer complained about the high prices, "I came here for my first big piece so I was naive about prices. I was charged $400 and the tattoo was 1/3 of the size it was supposed to be. Don't rip off beginners because those are the people who will keep coming back for more. Do better." Another customer complained about the rude behavior of the owner, "Be prepared to wait over an hour as a walk-in. The owner was extremely rude. Calling me a liar. Baby, I have receipts. Overpriced. Never again."

Overall, Union Ave Tattoo Company is a place for military and civilians alike. The shop has talented artists who can turn customers' ideas into reality. However, customers should be aware of the high prices and the possibility of rude behavior from the owner.

The guys at UATC are true professionals. Their combined experience and friendly attitude make getting a tattoo there an awesome experience. I have gotten all my work done from them over the years and will continue to do so. They really do care about the work they do. I can say without any doubt, these guys will continue to grow as a business and as artists.

I absolutely recommend going to Union Ave Tattoo Company.

Had a bomb ass experience at union ave tattoo.Q himself did some awesome job. He took his time, and still finished in a reasonable time. He staid after he closed to finish my husband and two friends tattoos. Will definitely be coming back for other tattoo work. Thank you Q for helping us out.

I got my first tattoo here and itā€™s ā€œmehā€. I was charged $100 for a very small outline tattoo, which seems overpriced to me. He didnā€™t even tell me how much it was going to be until he started. That was after I made a $60 non-refundable deposit for him to even do the sketch. Cash only. Iā€™m honestly not happy with how the outline actually turned out, but thereā€™s not much I can do it about it now.

I wish I would have discovered this place sooner. Before I deployed I looked past this shop because of it's location. When I got back to the US my friend told me about a tattoo artist named Q and brought me in. Now I have this dragon sleeve that looks amazing! No wonder these guys don't pay for advertisement, they get their own reputation with the military community through word of mouth. I highly recommend getting a tattoo here. The atmosphere is great, I would go there just to hang out. These guys will keep you laughing as you get your piece done. My experience with Q was quick, he doesn't try to purposely prolong the process to get more money out of you. The pricing is fair, I am a very happy customer.

I got a tatto from the shop that didnā€™t come out the way it looks on the picture I brought in.Iā€™ve been trying to get my tatto fixed by an artist(Brett) that works there and he has been blowing me off for weeks. He promised up and down that we could fix the tatto once it healed but never did and he never answers. It was an elephant piece that couldā€™ve been a really good but the eyes are too far apart and one is bigger than the other. It makes the entire tatto look like garbage. Completely unprofessional and poor quality shop. I wouldnā€™t spend money there and I wonā€™t spend anymore money there. A good artist knows how to place tattoos.

A very clean and traditional tattoo shop. The owner is very nice and both artists I checked out have clean , bold amazing work. Look forward to getting work done there in the future!

Not even close to cheapest in town, but the work is great, price is fair, and they listen t good music everyday. Finally a shop that listens to modern hardcore music instead of ugly butt rock from the 70s. Attention tattoo artists, no one likes it but you, and we all hate you for it
