Ivy Ink Tattoo

I am really pleased with the tattoo I had done at Ivy Ink-not only pleased with the work and the reasonable fee but also with the experience of the shop. Artist and owner Alex has made her workplace a bright and welcoming and calm comfortable environment. I would recommend this shop to anyone but maybe especially to anyone getting ink for the first time. Really excellent in every way.

I got my first tattoo from Alex when she was still in Auburn, last fall. I explained what I wanted and she designed and got me in very quickly. She made recommendations regarding size, and while I had a general idea of where it should be located, she made suggestions on location. I am very happy with my tattoo and received several compliments from others. I would definitely go back to her for my next one.

Ivy Ink Tattoo is the best. Alex is an extremely talented artist. She did my Wifes first, second, third and fourth tattoo and did two cover ups, and three new ones, and one restoration for me. We both have plans to get a few more from her. Both my Wife and I are very, very pleased with her work and have referred quite a few people to her for their tattoos. Her shop is very very welcoming and extremely clean, good prices, and Alex is very friendly and funny (another thing that made us fall in love with her). We highly recommend Alex for your next Tattoo whether it is your first or one your hundredth, new or cover up Alex at Ivy Ink Tattoo is the one for you.

I went in for a piercing with Gabriella and was very pleased with the experience. She did a great job explaining the process and preparing me for the piercing. I felt like I was in great hands. I love the result, it's even better than I hoped. Highly recommend, especially for someone who hasn't had piercings before and might need a little reassurance.

It was first my tattoo, and I probably wouldn’t even thought of having one if it weren’t for scars coverup. I did my research online, carefully looked through the artists’ creation/work. Came across Alex at Ivy Ink Tattoo, which was very close to how I would like my tattoo to be done - Elegant & delicate.

I contacted her on yelp to request for an appointment (Please don’t mind the 0 reviews, it’s a yelp scam). She responded in timely manner. We met up to discuss what I was looking for, and how this will be a challenge because of the placements of my scars.

The day when I finally got on the chair for my tattoo, I was obviously nervous, since the piece I was getting is not small. It was practically half of my left leg. Alex was wonderful. She patiently explained her ideas from understanding what I wanted while drawing on my leg. Her considerations and being understanding was so comforting. After we’ve decided the design, she started the needles. There was not a drop of blood, she was gentle and constantly checking to see how I was feeling.

My tattoo came out beautiful! Her design was an absolute success! The hardest part was the surgical scar folds when I bent or straighten my leg since it was on my knee. Alex was able to pull that off! I have not worn shorts in almost 30 years! It was all very emotional.

I would definitely recommend her to anyone who’s looking for an artist that has good moral in the practice and highly talented. After all, it is something you’ll have to wear for the rest of your life. She was a miracle for me. ❤️
