Studio Evolve

Studio Evolve is a fantastic studio! I came on the recommendation of a friend and was not disappointed. From first setting up the appointment with sweet Bridget to the actual day with, everything was well explained and very professional. Mike Boone was my artist and he was very patient and kind. He executed the design perfectly. This was my first tattoo in years and I already want to come back!

AWESOME environment!!! Everyone is so cool and down to earth and they all make sure you are informed and comfortable with every step!!! Gonzo the artist that did my tattoo did awesome work and was very friendly and easy going. BEST EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD WITH ANYTHING IN VIRGINIA BEACH!!!

I LOVE this place. Its clean (even smells clean), well lit, EVERYONE is friendly and professional. I started to go here when Abby was there. Now Mark is my go to artist. They have tablets with everyone's portfolio on it. Did I mention how wonderful this place is?? I've gotten several tattoos here and started my right sleeve. The artist do charge by the hour, not the tattoo. And there is a deposit that you can either keep on file, if you're working on a large piece like a sleeve, or you can use it after just one tattoo. The hourly rate varies by the artist, I think. And it's VERY fair pricing considering tattoos are forever. The quality is ALWAYS amazing with all the artist.

I love Studio Evolve! The atmosphere is welcoming and the customer service is great. Many of the artists work is displayed on the walls and it all is awesome! Taylor Morrison is my Tattoo Artist; he and the staff were willing to work with me via email to offer consultation because I wasn't local to the Va Beach area. This was a huge travel timesaver. I have had the best experience with Studio Evolve. You will not be disappointed; I recommend them without hesitation.

First and foremost, Mark Wroblewski is one of the best artists I've received work from in years. If you are thinking about your first tattoo or are looking to add to your collection, Mark is your guy!

A brief synopsis of my experience with Studio Evolve, I was cordially greeted from a friendly receptionist upon entering the shop. The waiting area could use some new, comfortable furniture, but the wait is only temporary. Once Mark took me back to his workspace, it appeared to be clean, calm, and welcoming. It was obvious that he respects his work, his office, and the tools of the trade. I wasn't expecting an impressive bedside manner from him or the tattoo shop from past experiences of other shops, Mark is a very friendly guy, not intimidating, and ensured his clients are given respect from the initial greeting. I was impressed. The piece I asked him to design was very basic, not complex at all; however, if you check his portfolio, he is experienced and capable of fine detail if one is looking for multi-color design and/or realism. Afterwards, he didn't rush me out to take on his next client, but rather took a little time to discuss the next piece I was thinking about. I may be wrong, but assume this is rare, since time is money and an email can have the same conversation.

To sum it up, Studio Evolve in Virginia Beach is one of the top, if not the top tattoo shop within Hampton Roads. Mark is truly an artist who loves his work and cares for his clients. If you're thinking about where to go, reach out to these guys.

James Rivera is the best. He did a phenomenal black tattoo on my shoulder. I only had an idea of what I wanted and I told him and he designed an amazing design and I couldn't be happier. It took 6 hours for him to do my tattoo and he was very patient when I needed a break. I highly recommend you talk to James, especially for a black tattoo!

This is my second time going to Studio Evolve and both times, I have been treated like a valued client. Taylor was my artist this time, and he was just great! He made me feel comfortable, held a great conversation, and even let me listen to Cattle Decapitation on his music device!

Studio Evolve is amazing! The shop is clean and very nice! All the employees were absolutely wonderful in the planning and scheduling process! James did a wonderful job giving my wife and I matching tattoos for our anniversary! They get our highest recommendation!

This shop is amazing! I got a tattoo from Canada, and it was gorgeous. I didn’t give her an actual picture or idea of what I wanted- I just told her I wanted something sparkly and pretty and she did exactly that. I’ve never seen another artist tattoo sparkles/glitter like she does! Her line work is also flawless. The shop is very clean and the atmosphere is great. Flaco is also a great artist! I haven’t had the honor of being tattooed by him yet, but some of my friends have and his work is also fantastic!!!

I had a very colorful piece done by Colleen, and it looks fantastic! I really appreciate the attention to detail and striving for perfection. Studio Evolve is definitely my favorite studio in the area, everyone is super professional and inviting, and the creativity flows! Will definitely keep returning.
