After 15 years finally had a piece I want. Always knew I wanted tattoos but didn’t know what to get. Once I gave Killian my idea for the piece he was able to translate that into exactly what I was looking for.
The whole process was quick and the staff friendly. Price was great and I’m working on 2 other pieces already! 10/10 would recommend to everyone!

Went in to get pierced and ended up leaving with tattoos as well. Cooper is great and did an awesome job piercing my nose. He is a majestic human being. Killian is amazing and made me feel completely at ease since I hadn't had work done in over 10 years. Besides, who doesn't like a dude that loves cats? A soulless monster, that's who. I will definitely be back for more. Honestly, the best experience I've ever had walking into a shop.
Update 8/31/19 (Apparently Google didn't like my cussing in the original review from November 2018 😁): Still an amazing shop with an even more amazing staff. I've continued to get tattooed by Killian since I first dropped in and I love my cat sleeve! Definitely a place where you feel welcomed and appreciated as not just a customer, but as a human being. I highly recommend Killian, Jake, Cooper, Michael and Amy!

I've been to Blackwater Tattoo & Design two times this year. The second I walked in the door I was happy to see a clean sanitary environment. I was greeted by Ivy, the office manager. Her presence made me feel welcome the second I came in. Killian is an amazing artist who gave me positive reassurance that I was doing great throughout the 3 and a half hour and 5 and a half hour tattooings. I can not recommend this place enough. I'll be booking all further tattoos at this establishment. Not only for the art work but for the hospitality too!

Love this place. Everyone here actually has a personality, friendly and informative. All questions were answered. Felt comfortable. Got my nose pierced. Definitely going back for tattoos. Hidden gem for sure! If your looking for a spot . Go here!!!!!

The piercing guy is really helpful, informative and seemed to be really authentic. He even told me how my like for nose ring hoops would be a grower, which he was right. However, the place looks sketch AF. Lol.

Got a piercing from cooper, and it was so easy and fast. He made me feel really comfortable and got my nose piercing exactly where I wanted it! It was so smooth and honest made the whole this a lot better and minimized the pain as much as he could. Would recommend him forever especially to people getting it done for the first time.

Literally just left, it was absolutely amazing. I got my nose pierced, Hank made it super quick and easy, was super friendly and walked me through the whole thing! He even gave me a mini anatomy lesson which reassured me he knew what he was doing, he made sure to point out he was using a fresh needle and sterile equipment before even setting up his station. Totally recommend going for piercing, coming back for a tongue piercing one day

This is my second time to this place for my daughter piercing. Copper is the one who did the service. He is good for his work but he is very rude. He use the bad words and have no idea how to deal with a client. I am disappointed with the behavior and expect to be improve.
