I couldn't say it better myself. Rude A holes like Roger are the extent of what you will find here. Take my advice and go somewhere you will be happy with the work done.

This looks like a great place for me to have me old tattoo brought to life again. I've had mine for an extremely long time. I will behaving redone with the possibility of having it extended. I'm excited and feel like I did thatnight in New Orleans 49 years ago.

Star city tattoo is the best shop I have ever stepped foot in. I have work done from many different shops in the Roanoke valley and Star City is head and shoulders above the rest. Roger and Kaitlyn are the most professional and understanding artist. I have work from both and will continue to get tattoos from both. They have the knowledge to make sure your tattoo fits the body correctly, what will look great, and what will look subpar. The shop is extremely clean and it shows from the moment you walk in. If you are into super badass tattoos then Star City is where you need to go. Anywhere else is a waste of money and skin.

Go there and get an amazing tattoo, but have your experience ruined by the over sensitive Roger. I'd say it's a great place to go , so long as you keep your mouth shut. He ruined my first tattoo experience just because I asked about his art.

Roger is EXTREMELY rude. I wanted to request for him to do my tattoo because the work he has done in the past looks nice. He told me that he has no problem passing up tattoos that he does not want to do simply because they are simple and "he is a artist that happens to do tattoos, not a tattooist". I guess he thinks that his experience grants him the ability to conduct himself in an awful manner.
The girl that is currently tattooing there however is very sweet, will go above and beyond to work with you, and is very professional. Turns out, I would much rather her do my tattoo.
