I have always gone to JOE HEGARTY and all of his artists past and present. This isn't a "tattoo shop" or "tattoo factory" like others around town....this a custom tattoo shop. If you want your boyfriends name or a pitbull head, this isn't the spot! You give these guys an idea of what you want and let them draw it up...other shops around town want to know what you want and then throw you in a room with an artist in that skill/style level. One particular place in Roanoke has a host/hostess to place you with an artist. If an artist doesn't greet you when you walk in, your in the wrong place. Joe is a world renowned tattoo artist and I trust his choice in artists he employs
