Stumbled upon Sayan after looking up other shops in the NoVA area. I'm so glad I went here, even with the almost 3 month wait. The consultation with Robie was extremely helpful, the venue is very clean, and everyone there was friendly and professional! My piece also came out better than I envisioned thanks purely to the experience and talent of the artist! I would definitely highly suggest to anyone to check out Sayan Tattoo!

Jason is truly an artist! He is one of the best artists I've had ink me. He did both the dream catcher and arrow for me and exceeded my expectations plus he has a great sense of humor. Robie, the owner, and Cynthia, one of the other artists, are super personable and the shop has a great vibe all around. I highly recommend Sayan Tattoo to anyone!

First and foremost - and above all - Robie Sayan and his family/team, Shanna, Cyn and Jason, are fantastic human beings! The open and relaxed environment they’ve created at the ‘Sayan Tattoo Company’ is the perfect setting for those looking for an artist willing to be invested in the process as much as their customers. Personally, I’ve worked with Robie for 7 years and can easily say there is not another person I would entrust to properly display my life experiences...which is the very reason we will be lifelong friends. There are many artists capable of tattooing you, but Robie and his team have an amazing range of skills that can answer any style of tattoo you may be searching for. If you’re thinking about getting some ink, your first and only call should be to the Sayan Tattoo Company!

Robie has worked with me over the last year to complete my sleeve. He took my ideas & brought them to life. He made them more beautiful than I could have expected & did an incredible job! I will absolutely be going back for more work in the future. I am so happy with how my sleeve turned out!

Made an appointment a month in advance only for it to be canceled 2.5 hours before the scheduled time because the artist didn’t have time from the moment I scheduled the appointment, again a month in advance, to when the appointment was to work on a drawing for my tattoo. Ironically enough, in their email signature they have this whole thing about clients being respectful of the cancellation policy but I guess that only goes one way.

I traveled from Winchester to meet with Robie for my very first tattoo, a large, beautiful, organic black and white floral hip piece. As someone who is super picky, I spent weeks searching for an artist whose line work and attention to detail was near perfection and I am so glad I did. From the stress-free consult and good vibes of the staff and environment, to Robie buying me macarons during one of our breaks from a local shop because I mentioned I had never had them before (!!!), to the patient, easy-going, professional yet laid back nature of all employees here... I could not have wished, hoped, or dreamed of a better first tattoo experience. If (or should I say when?) I want my next piece, there is no doubt in my mind where I'll get it done. If you're scoping out a few places I am telling you to save your time and shoot these guys a message. You will not regret it!

I got my first tattoo a few weeks ago with Jason and it was a great experience! The place is neat and clean and the people were very friendly! Jason did awesome work and was easy to talk to pass the time!

Just had my first appointment at Sayan Tattoo with Jason, probably the most relaxing tattoo experience I’ve had, can’t wait for my return visit in October, as always Jason’s professionalism and artistry is second to none.

I’ve been going to Rob for about 5 years for all my work. The shop is always clean and inviting. All the artist are very talented and friendly. Only positive experiences for me!!
