So this was my first tattoo and I kind of found Mountainside Tattoo randomly through Google. It was a last minute thing and Alex, the owner, was more than flexible with trying to fit me in. After sending a couple of emails back and forth, he scheduled me for Labor Day morning, which fit my schedule more than his. Alex was awesome; answered all my questions, offered suggestions and always confirmed every step with me. He drew up a sketch and printed it off for me to see how it would look, and off we went. His parlor was very professional and clean, but very interesting to be in with cool collectables everywhere. He laid down the outline in no time; he was very gentle with the needle gun. After he filled it in, he bandaged me up, told me about cleaning and care and it was done. It was a great experience and could not have gone smoother for my first time. I will be going back to Mountainside Tattoo for all future tattoo work and will suggest it to all my friends!

This review is based on the Bellowsfalls Vt shop. I cannot believe the experience I had here. The place reeked of pot (smoke if you want but on the job?? really) He pierced my nose and then "lost' the jewelry in my nose.. said he needed to try again and that he would hit the same spot. Two weeks later my nose is swollen, sore, and has puss coming out. I made sure that I had been cleaning it well. I went to a place in Keene today and he removed the jewelry and cleaned everything for me. He told me that the hole that was made the first time was bigger than the jewelry and that there were actually two holes made. I can't believe I paid and tipped for this to be done. Now I have a nasty hole and an infection..

alex and his staff are always very helpful, kind and professional! the shop is always very neat, tidy and sterile! i would definitley reccomend this tattoo and peircing shop and will visit here again.also i got my navel,eyebrow and industial peircing done here and they never got infected and they did a great job! p.s this is jennifer benware. i use my sons email.

I was dissappoiont that my tattoo could of came out better like all the others who had their tattoo done there.The tattoo was messed up in a few places which could of been better. They messed up on the lady's hat which is not straight so I will have to get it retouched from a different artist. I booked my appointment a week in advance with a deposit but still had to wait an extra half hour because they didn't finish the other client on time. I also had a voucher that basically paid for 3 hours worth which they said they couldn't use it only on certain days which was in fine print it didn't say but supposbly with all the hassle they decided to put in only 100.00 towards the time.So basically I spent 300 on the tattoo when really it was supposed to be covered by the voucher already.So I paid 150.00 for the voucher on top of 150 for the time and deposit. Also before I even booked my appointment I did mention I had a voucher to used already too. I'm just disappointed that everything didn't go the right way. The only good part was the little dog they had in the shop.

I took my 2 girls to mountainside 1 got their nose pierced and the other got her very first tattoo and they not only answered all our questions they were very friendly. It was an amazingly great experience for our first time there. I would highly recommend them to anyone and also bring my business there again.

From the Outside it look small. However inside it's like you're at home, Alex is an amazing and talented artist and it definitely shows! He is ver y reasonable with his pricing.

My tattoos are faded and sore. I didn't receive after care information. I googled how to care for them. Did my best, but they scabbed up and faded. I'm very disappointed and not sure if I am going to use another hour that I have already purchased.
