I did not have a good experience here today. I had a tattoo appointment with Laura today and it did not go well at all. Last night, I reached out and verified the appointment was still good to go. She said yes and texted me a picture of the drawing she had ready to add onto an existing tattoo. I decided I didn’t completely like it and sent her a picture of what I did want. I didn’t hear back from her, and I assumed she was busy, which is understandable.
Today, I walked in and she asked me about my text and I confirmed what I did want. She said something along the lines of, “Well, that’s not what I drew.” I tried to sound kind when I asked if that was a problem.
She then looked at me for a moment and then told me that she was going to give me my deposit back. She did and I told her that I’m more than happy to work with her.
To this, she said she didn’t have the patience to do this and we already had to reschedule and I’d given her a hard time about that. (We had rescheduled because she reached out to me expressing the pain she was in. I did tell that I was honestly frustrated with the reschedule because my sister had worked around my schedule so that I could go to my niece’s birthday party in Logan. I also told her I was sorry to hear about the pain and that I’d pray for her.)
Anyway, I felt it was unprofessional to bring it up. I told her that I’d like to work on this with her and she quickly said, “No,” and went to the door and held it open and waited for me to leave. I told her God bless and left. I am sorry for all of what she is dealing with but I will not be back nor will I recommend this place or artist.

I got a tattoo done by Jamie and she was the most light handed tattoo artist I've ever had, not only that we had great coversation and she gave me my favorite tattoo that I will forever love. Also was a scar cover up and she absolutely killed it!

I had a session with Taj it went for almost 2hours but the time went by sooo fast. We talked about food the whole session, she made me feel comfortable and she was sooo friendly and professional at the same time. She did such a beautiful design for me. The place is sooo nice and clean. Would definitely recommend this place and Taj to anyone.

Gorgeous new studio with some of the best artists and tattooists in Salt Lake City! The shop is uber clean and professional. I highly recommend this shop, whether you live in SLC or will be visiting soon. However, their schedules do get full, so call ahead and get your design ideas in early!
