Came in for my first tattoo and I DO NOT recommend coming here. Bad vibes and not at all chill. I felt like a massive inconvenience from the moment I walked in the door. You might like it here if hyper masculinity and feeling like a bada$$ is your thing. After calling ahead, I was told to come by for a consultation, but no one was available for atleast 20-30 minutes from the time I was told to come in.
After waiting for so long, Tyler comes around and looks at what I had in mind for a tattoo and immediately started criticizing it and telling me what was wrong with it. Then I told him what colors I wanted and he argued with me about that. He threw a tantrum and took me back to show off his drawer of colors, insulting me along the way. He acted like he was some special hot shot. Charges way too high.
I ended up leaving and going to another place in town. They charged me HALF of what Tyler quoted me, treated me with respect and worked with me on what I had in mind. It was a small tattoo, only took about 20 minutes from start to finish. Tyler made it out to be far more dramatic than it needed to be. What a horrible experience.

I had a super frustrating experience here. I came to have my doubles and helix pierced. When Sabastian had me check the markings on my lobes after measuring, I mentioned that one side looked too high. He insisted it was correct so I allowed him to be the professional and took his word for it. My husband measured with calibrated calipers he brought home from his engineering job and the piercing I was concerned about was twice as far apart as the other ear. I went back in to have Sabastian fix it and he swore up and down that the piercings were even and that it was an issue with my first piercings. He said he would fix it to look “cosmetically correct” for full price ($65). Jenn at Cache Valley Tattoo and Piercings fixed it for me (for $30) and they look great now. Disappointing. The shop was clean and Janine at the front desk was very helpful. My helix looks good too. So this sucks. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I wish I would have seen something like this before choosing Sabastian to pierce me.
