Been here multiple times now. Each time Mikey was my artist and I have nothing but good things to say. Great atmosphere and even better artists. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for work.

Let me preface by saying this may be a good shop overall with good artists, but I need to share what happened to me. My friend and I came in last Wednesday, spoke to Haap, and made an appointment for the next Wednesday (yesterday) at 9:00 pm. He set the time and date; my friend and I have really hectic schedules and we absolutely planned around that time. Wednesday night at 6:00 he texts, asks if we can come in early, as in immediately, because "something personal came up" and he wanted to leave at 7:00. We weren't able to come that early- again, he set the time and date we planned accordingly.

We went to the shop as soon as we could, but he was already gone. Only one artist was working, and he very kindly called Haap. When we spoke to him, he was not particularly apologetic about wantonly flaking on our appointment, which was set a week in advance. He gave no details about the personal matter he had to see to, and didn't sound trrrobly distressed. Absently offered to come back in, very reluctantly, and actually asked if we were "really set on getting tattoos" that night. Keep in mind, these are first tattoos for both of us, and naturally we were psyched. Very, very disappointing.

I understand there may be great artists at this shop, but this was astoundingly unprofessional. I made an appointment, and the artist did not keep it. My intended design is simple, probably not something that will cost too much time or money, and it clearly wasn't worth his time. Maybe if we'd had more complex designs that would cost more, been previously tattooed, or been men (this may be a reach, and if so I apologize for the assumption) he would not have been so flippant about not sticking to our appointment. This is a really bad way to do business. I was excited and very confident about my choice of shop, but frankly if they don't want my business enough to keep an appointment set a week in advance, I'll take it elsewhere. Haap may be a good artist, but unless you're fine with him potentially refusing to keep an appointment, I'd choose a different artist.

I'm relatively new to the Tomball area and was told about Crow's Nest by a coworker. Chazz Wagers did an amazing job on my coworker, so I had no doubt about his abilities. The shop was neat, clean, and the artists were all very polite and very talented from what I saw in their picture books. Im very very satisfied with mine; I will be recommending these guys to anyone who asks.

I was referred to Mikey at The Crows Nest. I love my new coverup that he did. The bright colors make it pop. 😉 their new spot was nice and clean. I would highly recommend Mikey for your next tattoo!

Awesome little tattoo shop! I saw Chazz there and he tattooed my fingers. Did an awesome Job!! Will he going back to this shop for sure, already made a second appointment!

Haap gave me an out line then skipped out on the finish. I finally got so pissed off about the piss poor job he did I texted him to finish it. He texted me back to find another artist and to not contact him again, he also said no one in his shop would finish it for me.... Such a Crappy way to do people... He sucks as an artist
