I've never left this place with a tattoo that I didn't absolutely love. My expectations have been exceeded every time! The consultation day concept is amazing, it makes your tattoo experience personally tailored so that you get a custom, unique tattoo. Very clean and laid back, comfortable environment. I'm a faithful client! Strangers compliment my tattoos all the time. Come see these people, you won't regret it :)

Amazing tattoo shop. Family environment, amazing artist's, the cleanest shop I have ever been in. I've had about 30+ hours of work done by Amy, and have been going there for almost 2 years. I have family members that come here from California to get work done!!!! Wouldn't recommend anyone else!!

People spend time trying to find the artist that does amazing work and who also cares about the people who it is put on. Amy and everyone else at Precisely Veiled Tattoo are those kind of people. They all do incredible work and are also concerned about the healing of the artwork and with the organic process of the art itself. I can honestly say that I think all future tattoos will be done at this shop. Amy does beautiful pieces that blow my mind. She took time and looked at things that I liked and created an original piece that reflected my tastes. I would highly recommend Precisely Veiled Tattoo. I had a wonderful experience getting my first tat with Amy Shandick! She went out of her way to work with me on a time and date that I could make it in. Amy was very professional and caring; after consulting and exchanging ideas for the tat, the design was everything I hoped for, during the tat she noticed I was getting cold and wrapped me up in some sheets to keep me warm, and after the tat gave me some great advice for after care and also followed up with me personally on the tat. I've got several tats, this one is by far my favorite thanks Amy!

I was looking to get a tattoo and was recommended to go to PVT and see Amy. I was in Houston, TX though so it wasn't thay easy to get there. I heard Amy was going to be at a convention down here in Houston. I started talking with her to see if she could fit me in. When I showed up to meet with her. I was overwhelmed with her awesome attitude and loved her design. She did an amazing black and gray piece. I love how she took my idea and made it such a work of art. I have since scheduled more spots for work. I will drive the three and half plus hours to get more work done by Amy. Best tattoo artist I know!!! You will not be disappointed!!

Nutshell: I’ve loved every step of the process of working with Amy in this tattoo. It’s been a great experience from the booking and consultation process, to design, to the studio, to the actual Experience. I think I’ve found my tattoo artist for life (not exaggerating) :) looking forward to the third sitting.
DETAILS:
I’ve now had the pleasure of working with Amy twice on a tattoo for my back. The first two were originals done by Amy, the third sitting will be to make the flowers on the right side of my back (8 years old and by a different artist) match the style of the tattoos she’s completed on the left side.
BOOKING PROCESS - after talking with Amy during her consultation day we scheduled the appointment for her first available time (long wait WELL WORTH THE WAIT). I love that every few months and the day before she checked in via text with reminders.
DESIGN PROCESS- we connected via Pinterest so that she could see the designs I was pinning to get a sense of the styles I liked. I loved getting to passively communicate my style with each pin. The deign layout and placement worked great. And per usual the design on the paper paled in comparison to the actual work that she did for me.
QUALITY and HANDIWORK of the tattoo: Amy isn’t heavy handed, meaning my lines aren’t super thick. She’s EXCELLENT with indicate details. She did three different versions of flowers, chrysanthemum, hollyhock and a protea. I was blown away with the final product each time; I love them! I’ve now worked with four different artist; I will not go searching for a different artist for future tattoos.
STUDIO: very clean, smelled clean, she made me very comfortable. The whole office is professional, you can tell from the minute you pull up with the flower beds to the front desk greeter to Amy’s set up in her tattoo room.

It was exactly what I was looking for. The shop was very professional and catered to my needs as a client. There guest artist Jesse did my tattoo. He did amazing! Amy sat down with me and matched his style to my tattoo. Recommend going to get your tattoo. This was my first tattoo and I was not disappointed.

I love this place! I have almost finished my sleeve with Amy's and Ty'Esha's art work. Before coming to this shop I hunted and searched for Amy for almost a year before finally finding her, all because of a tattoo my husband saw of Amy's in AIT. Color me excited when I found out she was in the same city that I lived in but I honestly would have traveled just to get work done by her. Her business practices are amazing and love how much variety she has in her shop with all the award winning artist that guest spot. She now has Ian Bell as a guest piercer and I am tickled pink about it. He is an amazing body modifier and piercer. I have several piercings and the one done by Ian was the best one. As he says, he's magic! If you want a place that will really get to know you and provide you with the exact tattoo that fits you and who you are this is the place. If you want a place that makes you feel like family then look no further. Make sure to check everyone out on their consultation day!

I love Precisely Veiled Tattoo! As soon as you walk in you can tell the shop is clean and taken care of while the staff is very inviting and friendly. I got my first tattoo done by Amy Shandick and I don't think I could be more impressed! She helped me consult my fear reguarding the pain and made me feel very comfortable during the whole process. She's very personable and has interesting things to talk about if you let her. She is also an amazing artist and I was astounded when my finished piece looked better than any picture I could have brought her! My whole experience was beyond anything I could have expected and I have already made another appointment. I live in San Marcos but the drive is always worth it to see Amy.

I love everything about this shop. Its so organized with consultation day on the first wednesday, that way when its your turn to be in the chair you dont have a bunch of people walking in and out interripting the artist with questions or scheduling. The artists are all very talented but my artist, Amy, is brilliant!! Her cover up work is amazing and shes just as sweet and genuine. The shop is clean with a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. I would highly recommend this shop. If Amy cant help you one of the other artist will def meet your needs.
