Texas Made Tattoo Ink

First and foremost let me say that the shop was clean and the people there were super cool to me, however the artist I had at the time name is Pete and he completely butchered my skin. Overwork my skin completely and now I have major tattoo scarring, plus my tattoos that were supposed to be solid black have now healed discolored and have distinct pink scarring on where the artist I guess either dig too deep or overworked the skin. I hate to leave this review because I don’t feel it was done on purpose and everyone there was super cool to me, I wouldn’t recommend you not come here but if you do, definitely be weary.

So far I’ve met Johnnie and Juan. Johnnie gave me the most beautiful tattoos at a very reasonable rate. He does very clean line work and beautiful calligraphy. I got two words on my wrist and he re worked an old tattoo. It looks better than when it originally walked out of the shop. And my wrist tattoos... the calligraphy is truly simply stunning; each letter is stately and tastefully ornate. I’m really happy with how it turned out.

Also, Juan pierced my cartilage almost three months ago now. He was very quick and cleanly. It really didn’t even hurt, and it has healed with no issue.

I definitely would recommend this shop for anyone looking to get a tattoo or piercing. These are people that know what they’re doing and have been doing it for years. Both artists were very clean and professional; they do outstanding work for a great price.

I planned to go in for a nipple piercing and it was my first one. I was very nervous but the moment I walked in the door everyone was very welcoming and comforting. The piercer I had was very gentle-handed and kept it professional the entire time. I'm from out of town and Google reviews helped me find this shop and I am very glad that it did. I will definitely be coming back for future tattoo work.

Texas Made Tattoo shop is awesome! They have a very down to earth staff. My boy Juan is not only a good friend now that he has been doing all my tattoos for 6 years and still going, but he is also a damn good tattoo artist! He never disappoints me! I got an industrial done, and I LOVED it so much. It was a bit busy, so it took a while. Other than the wait, the guy that pierced my friend and I was so nice, professional and funny! He also told us on how to properly care for it as well as what kind of rings he was using on us. Do recommend!

I recently got two tattoo designs done within a week's time. The first one was a purple and blue rose on my upper right arm and the other was a success cat on the lower left leg. Both pieces like many others have been done by Pistol Pete.

What I like about him is that he hears what you have to say and provides some input if he sees how your tattoo will look much better. He is always been very helpful and considerate and always welcomes new and existing clientele. I have always taken images or designs and gives you the better than expected results.

He is not the typical tattoo shop where is some guy telling you what he thinks you need to have or even be rude or having an attitude like many other shops. The best thing about Pistol Pete is that he has a light touch with the needle which makes little or no pain felt in the work being done!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!! It took me about a week for me to finally make an appointment on friday at 8pm for tattoo touch up. Once i got there, the girl at the front said mike couldn't take me because he had a tattoo right after even though i had an appointment. She told me to call sunday and they still couldn't attend me. Then they told me to try monday, so i just gave up. Mike is very unprofessional!! not the way to do business at all. i tried being patient with them but enough is enough.
