Came here on a whim about 10 years ago. I've since come back for more because I was very happy with my ink!! Got a piece done by the Dragon Lady herself and it was quick and reasonably priced. I brought in my own artwork she added her own flare on to it as well. I suggest making an appointment just to avoid conflicts or long waiting.

Rayna and Karl did it big!!!!!!!! Rusty does it big too. How do I know? When I went back to my hometown the last week of July 2016, DC that is, to visit my family, anytime people want to take pics of your tats, its on. I had to hurt a few feelings by saying, I'll never forget were I was born and raised, but, in Texas, we do it big!!!!! My tats are beautiful beyond words. Diamonds never break and Cherry Blossoms represent my hometown. All art work was done on the spot!!! No issues whatsoever!!! Dragoon Lady Tattoos for life.

Went there to get an estimate and there was only one person there. She didn't acknowledge the fact I was standing there for five minutes waiting. She then said "what do you need" and I went over to her to GET AN ESTIMATE on two tattoo ideas I had in my phone and she WAS NOT FRIENDLY. So I got an estimate on one tattoo THEN TRIED TO SHOW HER ANOTHER TATTOO TO GET AN ESTIMATE and she had a NASTY attitude and said "do you have any tattoos?" And I replied with a "yes I have three" then she said again in a NASTY voice "then you should know the estimate pricing" which confused me because every tattoo place is different. I literally almost cried because of how rude the I'm assuming "manager" was. Then she said if I want CHEAP TATTOOS to go somewhere else and she even told me where to go (I don't remember she said "down the road") and that people that come in think they're "superstars" and so I was getting frustrated cause ALL I WANTED WAS AN ESTIMATE and I just said "okay thank you" and walked out and before the door closed I HEARD HER call me STUPID...I literally sat in my car and almost cried because she was so disrespectful and rude! You can't get business like that nasty attitude lady.

This shop has been around for awhile, I stopped by today to see the place where my tattoo roots began. 17 years ago I got my first tattoo and a week later I got my second from Dragon Lady Tattoos. Since I've been out of the Army and now been tattooing over 11 years in Chicago. This shop is iconic because of it's location and years in service, but knowing what I know now about being clean and sterile, I would of never of gone here. Looks like nothing has changed in 17 years and it's super cluttered and filthy. It's exactly what you would expect from the tattoo shop from back in the day. There is a shop across the street that looks very clean just from the outside. I would go there. Shops should smell clean, look clean, and the artist should be professional. Lot's of cats outside, I wonder if the Dragon Lady eats them? Ask them if any of their equipment is clean, and if they say yes, then tell them to lick it.

Good fun people!!!! They will not argue with you over the tattoo "YOU"want. I've been here three times and every time I've been a satisfied customer!!!!! No bull!!!! From fresh new tattoos to fixing hooks from the past they will get it done!!.
Also the pricing is great and they are a clean shop most of all!

We have known reyna when sam was around. They both know my father in law. They do great work in this shop as my husband and I have had several done when we were stationed there. We miss the work cuz u cant find it anywhere else like they do!!

Rusty is awesome! He took my idea and made it amazing! I wanted to cry when i saw it. It was a rememberance tattoo for my gma and i never could have imagined it was gonna look as good as it does!
