Scarlet Tyde Tattoo

James has created three tattoos for me. He listens to my ideas, we kick it around then he executes. The quality of the work is excellent. Studio is comfortable and clean.

I recently had the start of a sleeve performed by James at Scarlet Tyde. It was the first time I met him or visited the shop. Obviously that can be a little nerve racking but he came highly recommended. And the folks that told me to go there could not have been more right. Every part of the visit was great. Himself and his staff were friendly and professional. The shop was very clean and welcoming. As far as the Tat goes, James gave some input and his attention to detail was amazing. I'm super stoked about it and will be back!

Scarlett Tyde is the only tattoo studio I go to. James is an amazing artist and really cares about his clients. He makes you feel welcome and comfortable as soon as you walk in the door. James has done cover up work for me and new pieces too. His attention to detail is incredible and he is very talented. Shelby is super sweet and they are both very professional. Don’t go anywhere else for a tattoo!

James is amazing I’ve been going to him for 2-3 years now. Extremely light handed and always friendly. He’s the guy to go to if you want someone that really cares about grasping what you want this is the place to be!

10 out of 10! Absolutely the most laid back shop and so calming! James has done almost all of my tattoos over the years and I love them all!! He really takes time to make sure you’re getting what you want and to make it perfect! I drive over 10 hours just to get my tattoos done by James and I probably always will. We’re currently working on my new piece and I can’t wait to see the finished product! Service is amazing not to mention the artwork.
I was given a James Hix original piece to cover up an old tattoo. He was patient with the ideas I gave(no matter how crazy they were) and always gave me honest feedback. He didn't just "cover up", he created a masterpiece from the old. The concept of the old has been overwritten.
I don't even remember what the old one looks like.
Best tattoo I've ever received. Best service. Best everything!

The new location is spacious and clean. Nothing but professionalism here.

I’ve had all 5 of my tattoos, including my half sleeve done with James and I’ll never go to anyone else.
