i get that friday the 13th is a super stressful time for tattoo shops, but the lady at the front desk was incredibly rude to me and to another group of girls. i was so excited to come here because the pictures look so inviting and comforting. got in my car and cried, probably not gonna come back.

I emailed the owner in August about a tattoo for later in November. I did not receive an email back until October, which I felt was fair since it was closer to the time. Immediately, with the only response I’ve gotten from this person, I received an invoice for $50 to secure my “spot”. We never picked a date, we never picked a time. I told her my availability for my time there, and I was told she still had availability during then. Again, no specific time or date was scheduled. So I paid the deposit and emailed back and immediately received an automated response saying I was added to a queue and my message was received.
I never heard back and my time for my trip was coming up. So I emailed again wanting a refund because my trip is less than a week away and I planned on canceling with Covid happening.
Today, I received a response saying deposits are non refundable because it goes towards her time to emailing and sending invoices.
So I just paid $50 to not have a tattoo appointment scheduled, you only respond once, then send an automated response, and now no refund even though you are terrible at scheduling and responding? But you were very quick to send that invoice when you got my first message. That’s honestly ridiculous. I have a full sleeve of tattoos and have never once paid a deposit before a time and date are set, so shame on me for doing it this time. Now I’m out $50 for absolutely nothing and was told to email back when I was ready to get a tattoo from her and that would hold my spot. That is not ever going to happen. Go to an artist who sets times, actually responds in a decent time, and dates, and then asks for money. I should have known better.

Bri was awesome! Very professional and very kind. I recommend Lady Magnolia, very nice, cozy, serene atmosphere. Been to other shops and been ripped off or judged by my pieces but this place is far by the best, not like any other. Definitely will be coming back for more pieces. Thank you guys again.
