Division Street Tattoo Company

About 6 months ago my daughter and I got our first tattoos from Michael. He was very friendly and the place was spotless. We followed his instructions and they healed quickly. We will be headed back this week!

Todd was a great artist. He was very friendly and gave us an excellent experience. Walked in and showed him an idea of what we wanted. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of! Thanks Todd, you did a great job!!🙂

Went in today to have my daughter's ears peirced. I had called ahead and was told they didn't do piercings by appointment, walk in only. When we arrived the man who did the piercings was quite rude and made me feel like he didn't really want to do it. He explained it would be a long wait because he had two nose piercings before us. We were willing to wait and were looking at jewelry while we waited. I opened the cabinet to point at a peice close to the back to show my daughter and he then told me loudly from across the room to not open the doors. Needless to say I didn't feel comfortable letting someone peirce my daughter's ears who didn't seem to want to do it in the first place. Going somewhere else...and they actually schedule appointments.

Blake is an great tattooer. Not only is he extremely professional, but he also pays attention to detail and makes me feel heard. You can tell he really takes pride in what he does. I cannot say enough great things about him!

Great artist and super clean shop. Creative designs on traditional tattoos in a relaxed inviting atmosphere. You will be happy you chose Michael, he is my go to guy i would recommend him over and over....

***Required upsell for piercing*** found this place seeking a second hole ear piercing. I brought my own pair of diamond earrings in hopes to use them, but since they couldn’t validate that the post material was good quality (I guess they needed paperwork?), they wouldn’t let me. No problem - I could get whatever their cheapest was for the time until healed when I could put mine in. They only had high quality jewelry - which would be fine if I didn’t already have my own. The problem arises when they refuse to pierce without my purchasing their studs. A required upsell?

I understand the need for cleanliness and safety for their equipment - fair. But not offering any option and refusing the service seems overboard.

For future clients, be prepared to include the cost of high-cost studs or no service. A bit scammy.

I went for a new piercing. Michael was very professional and answered all my questions beforehand. He showed me the different jewelry and told me the process. I definitely recommend him. Very clean and modern place! Will be going back

What can I say about Michael and the ladies they are freaking awesome that’s what I can say. I went in for a neck piece from Ina and she is so nice and so talented. The music being played was relaxing and they made me feel right at home, the owner Michael is also kickass after he finished a piece on a client he hung out and joked a little it was a refreshing experience, If you’re looking for your next great piece go see Michael and the ladies at division street tattoo they rock. Also Ina thank you for being so amazing I really appreciate it!!!!

Blake did not really care about matching fonts closely to a previous tattoo. In his words “they are just little letters.” I chose to go somewhere else as he obviously doesn’t value customer satisfaction with this permanent life long mark on your body. He did not make me feel comfortable that he would try hard on the tattoo.

Edited to add in response to the reply: the scenario you explained below is what I TRIED to ask for. I don’t mind covid policy. I am a registered nurse and totally understand policies to help prevent the spread of covid. I was not upset at that. I asked if you could show me the stencil outside since I couldn’t be inside with my husband and that’s when you replied “honestly they are just tiny letters”. That sentence right there is what made me suggest to go somewhere else. Soon as I mentioned going somewhere else, you ripped up a paper and threw it in the trash. So unprofessional, Blake. Even more unprofessional that you tried to lie about what happened. I’m glad you are letting the public see proof of that in your response.

If I could leave 10 stars I would. I’ve gotten 2 piercings here, neither had almost ANY pain after. Michael is a freakin natural, the environment was cleaner than any tattoo shop I’ve ever seen, and I will never go to another shop again! If you’re considering division street tattoo or any other place, pick division street!
