I do not recommend this place. The staff was very unprofessional. the artist that booked my appointment was a hour late. The owner tried to make up the excuses that the artist had a show the night prior and that we are all human and i need to be understanding. so i sat and waited when the artist arrived the owner confronted him and said did you sleep in ..... heres the funny part it turns out that he was not late due to a concert he was late because he was giving his dog a bath. Mind you according to the owner Im supposed to be understanding because where all human even though the artist knew my appoint time and choose to give his dog a bath. not only that the owner tried to argue that customers are given a 30 minute grace period ......... the artist was a hour late. on top of all this my appoint was booked a week in advance i sent the piece i wanted in to be sketched early due to the artist saying he needed time to sketch it because of the detail. when he arrived for the appointment he hadn't even began to draw up the artwork and proceeds to tell me he lost/ never received the artwork. mind you my number is in their system because i had to confirm my apportionment so getting in contact with me was not a issue. the artist then tells me " i came in on my off day to tattoo you." even though hes the one who scheduled it not only that he literally volunteered himself my boyfriend had work done prior and i was going to the girl he had used. to top it all off the owner is now calling my phone due to the review my boyfriend left and telling my that its not truthful. when it is my refund for them holding my appointment was not given to me until the artist that booked me arrived a hour after my appointment time. the owner told me i had to wait on him and we could reach a compromise or i could be refunded. he then calls my personal phone to tell me about the review not listening to my complaints as a customer not acknowledging the unprofessional treatment i received from him and his employee but calling me over a goggle review. they couldn't call me and tell me they hadn't received my artwork but had zero issue finding my number to call me after a review a negative review was left. to the owner you should have reached out with a apology first and for most. secondly you need to fire that artist and reevaluate your whole life. what you and your shop did was wrong it was disrespectful it was degrading and belittling hearing someone prioritized their dog and neglected a paying customers money and time for a animals bath is absolutely unacceptable. its not like i walked in a requested him he literally said im the best at realism tattoos you got a out of control ego that needs to be checked. also For you to call me and say the review that was left was a lie. then hung up in my face after you called my personal phone because i was not listening to it because his review has nothing to with me.... you should know since you acted the same way when the situation pertained to you and your artist. if its good for you its good for me. what your shop did was absolutely unacceptable. to say he lied in review when you lied to my face about why your artist was late...... he was giving a dog a bath and had me waiting a hour with no work drawn up nothing started none of that and then says i didn't know how to contact you when clearly you can because you called me over a review your artist caused this if he couldn't do the appointment i would have booked with the original person i came in there to get work done from. Nessy was amazing and she did great work on boyfriend that was the whole reason i went your employee and his unprofessional attitude and your lack of care for customers as owner is why your getting this review. also as a business owner you can not contact patrons for reviews done by some else. that is harassment.not only that you cant contact them over reviews in general especially not in the manner you contacted me in the better business burrow will most definitely be hearing from me about you.

Girlfriend set an appointment up for today at 2pm to show up after paying a deposit to the owner saying that the artist assigned to her piece hasn’t even drawn up her tattoo and was already an hr late to the shop. She even put a deposit down scheduling the appointment which was not refunded. If you wanna waste your time or money I’d say go there otherwise I’d steer clear.

First the customer service was outstanding this was my FIRST time getting a Big tattoo so yes I was VERY nervous but the owner John Lindsey made me feel comfortable and insured me I was in good hands I recommend Chattanooga tattoo for All your piercing needs don't believe I told myself I wasn't going to get anymore tattoo ended up getting another one thinking of a nose piercing now 💯

I have gotten my last 5 tattoos with James Nelson. He is awesome at sketching out whatever you want and is so laid back about adjusting the design to your liking. I recommend him to anyone looking for an artist! The prices are great and the area is clean and professional. His instagram is @ar_tt_ to look at his previous pieces! 5 stars :)

John Lindsey is an awesome tattoo artist. The atmosphere is pleasant. I am definitely going back in May for another tattoo. You can't go wrong with Chattanooga Tattoo Company.

Finding someone to do the tattoo that I wanted with the quality that I wanted was a very hard task, but luckily I was able to find John and I’m so glad that I did! The shop was clean and the professionalism was top tier. I will recommend Chattanooga Tattoo Company to anyone who asks!

Nessy got me in for a same day appointment and did an amazing job on my tattoo. I’m already trying to figure out what my next tattoo will be, and I definitely want her to tattoo it!
