Rachel is a far more than a skilled and amazing tattoo artist, she is also a dedicated business woman. This is clear and shows in how she runs a safe, clean and quiet studio. I couldnβt be more pleased with the work Rachel did. I am certain that she gave me only her best work, done in an inviting, private environment. At all times I felt taken care of and attended to with all possible professionalism. The word custom applies to far more than her unique artwork and designs, it applies to every aspect of the tattoo process, and that -as they say- is priceless.

I came to Rachel for a fix-up of a cover-up. The original tattoo was black covered by black and gray. The cover-up was poorly done, and it was obvious the artist wasnβt interested in the tattoo. I came to Rachel for a consult and instantly knew she was the right artist. Her passion for art and tattooing is unmatched. She was booking out over a year at the time, but I decided to stick it out because I wanted a tattoo I loved. Let me tell you. Rachel didnβt disappoint. She took a dull, black and gray tattoo and turned into a colorful masterpiece. I hated my old tattoo and wasnβt proud to show it off. My new tattoo is more than I couldβve ever imagined. I love it so much I could cry every time I look at. Rachelβs attention to detail is spot-on. I gave her free reign when it came to picking colors, and she nailed it. I couldnβt be happier with the whole experience. I would never go anywhere else.

I waited until I turned 45 to get my first and second tattoos, partly because I did not have much confidence that someone could do the fine line work that I wanted done. I had researched tattoo artists and came across Rachel who was named as one of the top 50 artists in the US. I called her, and we set up a consult. From the moment I had met her, she was so helpful in answering all of my questions. We scheduled 2 dates for the tattoos that I had wanted and throughout the experience she was amazing. Now I am the proud owner of 2 fabulous tattoos. I will definetely be returning in the future. Thank you Rachel!

It took me a long time to find the right person for my first tattoo. Coming in at the higher end of my 50's I only had about 40 years to think about it. I feel lucky that Rachel was the person I actually got to do the work.
I caught a glimpse of a Fire and Ice Phoenix tattoo and had to find out about the artist. I looked through her work and was very impressed, so I figured I'd give her a call. What impressed me more was the fact that she interviewed me. She wanted to know why I wanted the tattoo and why she should do it. It really helps the artist find out about their future canvas.
Once it was determined we were on the same page there was the consult. This is where the ideas are bounced around. I went in with on thing in mind, only to see a better vision which is now on my arm.
Through our sittings I learned a great deal about Rachel. A single mom raising two smart and talented kids. She's kind, as she looks to help others. She's fierce, taking on the issues in her community. She runs a successful small business. I could go on and o. Oh did I forget she's unbelievable at her craft.
Rachel was the perfect match for me. Im truly lucky to have had her as my tattoo artist. She gets nothing but the highest recommendation by me..

I went to Rachel for my first tattoo. It was an image with special meaning for me. Not unusual. Totally professional and superbly talented, she walked me through the entire process insuring that I felt safe and understood each step. Not to mention a great playlist all the way through! She was collaborative about the location, size, and orientation of the image, and about color and shading where appropriate. Her guidance was invaluable and her skill and positive vibe made it an outstanding experience. I am beyond happy with the result and could not have asked for a more positive experience. I am one happy client who recommends Rachel WS as highly as possible without reservation! She is for real.

about 4 years ago i gave rachel one of my oysters and asked her if she could draw it on my arm - it was perfect - so much so she is now our official graphic artist for the farm. rachel is wicked incredible to work with - if your looking to get a tattoo need a graphic artist or need an artist period i highly recommend her!

I got my first tattoo at age 18 and have received several since - always by walking into a shop and working with whoever was available. But when it was time to create a larger, very significant piece I knew I wanted to have a more intentional experience. I had been following Rachel on social media during her battles to open her studio in it's current location and knew that when I was ready, Rachel was the artist I wanted to create my lotus flower half sleeve. I admired her art, of course, but also greatly admired her bravery, strong spirit and her kind heart.
Working with Rachel was entirely different than my previous tattoo experiences -- and SO much more wonderful!!! I love the art she created on my arm and I greatly enjoy the frequent compliments I receive on it. But I am equally grateful for the process of creating it and the time I got to spend talking, laughing, crying and healing my heart while sitting in Rachel's studio.
We completed my project two years ago, but I knew it would definitely not be my last tattoo with Rachel. I'm heading in for another consult soon - for work that will not begin until 2020 (because that's how far out she is booking!!!) and I am SO looking forward to being back in Rachel's beautiful studio once again!

Rachel is by far the best artist that I have been to. From her vision and artistry, to her compassion and positivity. I went in for a memorial piece for my brother and had a couple of ideas. We talked and came down to the one I got. From the stencil to the finished product, her work is impeccable. She shoots for realism and achieves it every time. I will never get a tattoo done by anyone else. Simply the best.

I personally have 2 beautiful tattoos that were created by Rachel. She is one of the most talented tattoo artists I have ever met. She is professional, courteous and fun to work with. Her attention to detail is incredible and shines through her work. I would highly recommend Rachel.
