Art FX Tattoo Inc

Terrible shop, terrible owners. All of their good artists and piercer left a couple months ago, and the owners try to tell former clients that they quit tattooing all together in order to take their regulars. The owners of this shop steal and butcher original tattoos as well as steal artists original art work. They took a former artist's original business card and scratched out his name, replacing it with their own. I'd give them zero stars if I could and most of the positive reviews on here are about artists that left the shop.

Great shop good people couldn't find a sitter for our 3 year old son and they had no problem with him being there with us highly recommend

I have been going to ArtFX for 5 years now. All 10 of my tattoos have been done by Jon, and they are all amazing . The shop is very clean, and the staff are all so nice and helpful! I would definitely recommend this tattoo shop to anyone!

Even though the last reviews of this place where not great I decided to go instead . If 0 Stars was an option I would give zero. Terrible experience. Went here because I've had family members that have had good work done here. But I will never come back. I went as a walk in. the door says they open at noon I went about 12:30 on rainy Saturday. There was one person waiting. The only person that worked was there was a mess. And said that there was no tattoo artist even there until 3. Why does the door say noon? Why does your website advertise walk-ins? I asked to look for a portfolio of the artists and I was told that I could go on Facebook or Instagram. Why?Why is there no book to look at while you're there? I'm getting something done permanently on my body and I want to pick an artist that I like their work . I was willing to wait as a walk-in I understood that but I wasn't going to wait 3 hours to even wait for a person to walk in the door to listen to my idea. So they definitely lost my business and my recommendations to all my friends that get tattoos. I went to the South side and instead and went to Kyklops, their shop is much cleaner, and professional, and their website is accurate they do take walk-ins I recommend that place instead.

Very professional, and everyone did a great job at calming my nerves as I got my first tattoo. Eric did my tattoo, he was welcoming, funny, and did a great job!

I got my first tattoo here and I was a nervous wreck, but then as soon as I sat down with Dawn it was awesome! She definitely knows how to make customers comfortable and the tattoo looks tight!

I only go to Dawn, they are all amazing people.. If you want great, detailed quality work.. this is the place.. and it's super clean too..

I’ve been hesitant to post a review, this was my first experience with a new artist. I hate my tattoo. It looks like a giant bruise on my side, and some of the black didn’t take. I’ve never been so close to tears during a tattoo either (i have 5 ) and my god it hurt, the artist had such a heavy hand and it shows in the work. I won’t be back.

Very dedicated staff that take pride in the work they do. Had a 30 year old tattoo retouched and it looked better than the original one. I intend to return to have to have more work done on my other arm.

DO NOT GET YOUR PIERCINGS HERE. End of story. They messed up my lip so bad I couldn't keep it in for more than a day and I have had my lip pierced before. It was painful AND done wrong. They then said it was "normal" when I contacted them. Please don't put yourself through this. I have went before and loved it but not this last time. They have changed.
