I came in for a conch piercing and Mads did an awesome job! I have a history of getting lighthearted, and after informing her of this, she was so nice and accommodating. Very patient, and let me sit for a couple minutes after the piercing to make sure I was good. The piercing itself was so quick and easy too. Definitely recommend seeing Mads for piercings!

Went in on a Friday to get my daughter's nose pierced. New in town from Florida. So excited to get her nose pierced since her birthday was the next the day the big 16. We were turned away saying they could not pierce unless 16, even though my husband an I explained her birthday was tomorrow. They explained they also needed a birth certificate. Sad that although both parents were there to give consent a paper altered out result. Not only did they lose business, but also common decency an kindness is non existent now adays. I would of given negative stars if possible.

I cannot give a comparative review, as the only tattoos I have were performed by Ronald Carr of Mermaids Mark. I can only review based on my experience and how it met what I anticipated it would be. First and foremost, cleanliness. 5 stars, no question. The only other business where I've been witness to their sanitary standards is my dentist. If you have the slightest concern about the safety or cleanliness, your fears will be alleviated here. That's good, as I honestly don't know if there are any local or state governance that does inspections or mandates some kind of yearly safety course, however I never felt that once that hygienics were an issue. As for the art, my tattoos are very simple, so there's no challenge presented. Look online and be your own judge. As for price, again, I cannot offer a comparison. I feel what I paid for what I received was very fair. There's the initial cost to even turn on the lights. My guess is that there's not a lot in the way of materials, but what you're paying for is the skill and trust of a professional. Finding this business wasn't a whim, but a decision born from research, so cost wasn't a factor. For as long as I may get tattoos, I'll continue to visit Mermaid Marks

Just got my vertical labret pierced by Mads, and she made the experience amazing!! Despite having many tattoos and piercings, I am still terrified of needles and expressed that to her. She made sure I was breathing and okay throughout the process. 10/10 will be back for more piercings done by her!!
