Got my 2nd tattoo here and Danny was my artist. Gave him a reference and a couple of different ideas to incorporate into the design and he absolutely nailed it. He didnt say much while he worked, and I'm fine with that. He was much more focused than the guy who did my first tattoo. I would definitely have Danny do more work for me when I'm ready

Went with my mom to get our noses pierced (nostril only). The lady that did our piercings was very kind and helpful, and talked us through everything. Good prices and quality CLEAN atmosphere! Will recommend! :)

Recently had my first tattoo done by Danny at the shop. And I have to say I could not be happier, my tattoo turned out even better than I had imagined. Danny took the time to get the first initial drawing of my tattoo right and made sure I absolutely loved it. I was very comfortable the whole time, I watched movies on my phone while he worked (I dont like the thought of someone talking while they are tattooing you). He gave me a few breaks in between parts of the tattoo. I highly recommend Danny, I have seen some of his other works and loved them. My elephant tattoo had a lot of detail in it. The next tattoo I get, I definitely would like Danny to do as well.

I've had three piercings done here (lip, septum, tongue) and I have to say this will be the ONLY place I'll ever get my piercings done at. The people are so friendly and I love coming in.
My mom has also gotten a tattoo done here and she said she will definitely be back to get more. This will be where I get my first tattoo done as well.

I got my tongue pierced there and they were so nice an patient with me. They helped calm my nerves and made it a pleasurable expirence. Definitely worth a trip if you want quality work.

My daughter went to Danny last summer on her 18th birthday to get her 1st tattoo. She was so excited. Went in to set up the appt a month before. She got a card from him saying the total was going to be $80 & that she paid $40 deposit. She showed up for her appt 5-10 minutes early, was told to have a seat, then Danny told my daughter he would be with her in a few minutes, only to take another person ahead of her. She had to wait nearly an hour. When he finally got around to her, she showed him the card he gave her with the price quote of the tat & the amount she already paid him. He tried to make it seem like that amount couldn't be right, even though his initials were on it. She was getting a small 3 word tat & he acted like it was so beneath him. Other reviewers have complained that he has no personality but he does, it's just a bad one. He's a jerk, and that's putting it nicely. He only spoke to her if he absolutely had to. On top of that, the words in the tat were crooked. This was her 1st tat & our 1st time going to electric empire but it will be the last. She's getting her 2nd tat at the ink vault next week. In this town alone there are at least 3 or 4 shops & many many more in the pgh area. Customer service is EVERYTHING!!! I don't care how talented Danny is, he's not special. Don't ever look down on the small customer, or the new customer. Any business owner should know this & their employees should act accordingly. Danny lost 2 customers that day because I was looking to get a new tat as well. His boss should know that Danny isn't nice to everyone & it makes his shop look bad.
