American Ultra Tattoo And Body Piercing

I chose this location because of the great ratings it had. 4.8 stars out of 5! I was able to walk right in and get my nose pierced. Anna was amazing. She went through everything step by step and made sure I was comfortable and we had a great small talk around what was going on. I've had multiple piercings in the past, i.e. nipples, tongue, lip, belly button, but they have all been years ago. So when Alicia told me 'if I wouldn't put it in my eye, don't put it on my nose piercing. Saline rinse and hot water in the shower' So as weird as that was to me, I listened. And boy, was that bad. I ended up with a huge keloid/bump. Luckily, I started to listen to my instincts and started with antibacterial soap and piercing after care spray. I had a friend also suggest changing the jewelry as mine that I was pierced with, the titanium was turning black.

I debated on whether or not to make a review because they were so very nice and everything but this one thing, was perfect. The service was great, Alicia did all the things she was supposed to do. I was really happy I chose this place honestly. Very nice and made me relax. The placement dots that were made were perfect. But then the piercing happened. They are crooked. One facing down and the other facing up. Not straight at all. The placement distance is fine and you can't really notice the crookedness unless you really look. But I see it every single time I clean them or check up on them or even wash my face. And I see each time that they're crooked. I'm not too upset by it, I just wish they weren't crooked and the only way to have that, is to let the holes heal up but I just can't risk that all over again. Yes the piercing jewelry isn't theirs, I replaced them. I never had any issues otherwise except for issues caused by myself. Other than this issues, I'm really content with these piercings as well as the service. I love the work they do.

Edit: these piercings were done on November 14th. My birthday. Any issues that are suggested in the owners response was not because I changed it out early. They are fully healed, as there is not lymph fluid or crusting. And when I replaced them, there wasn't any issues. I just replaced them on Christmas eve. The crookedness was there even before the swelling disappeared. My issue is with the crookedness, not any issues that were caused by myself. I tend to heal very fast and made sure for a week before, that they were properly healed. And since the owner had edited their response I am editing mine. I gave you 3 stars because I am self conscious about the crookedness. Not because the service was bad. But because the piercing is crooked. One is aiming directly at my gum and the other directly at my teeth. I am aware of the risks and I knew there was a chance this would happen. I would recommend this business but at the same time I'm not going to give 5 stars when it's crooked and one is rubbing up against my gum line and irritating it and the other is so far up its hitting my top front tooth. I don't appreciate you editing your comment to make it seem like the crookedness was caused by changing it early. As all I stated was that I had and issue with the crookedness.

Great place, and artists, had plenty of patience working out a few setbacks to getting tattooed!!!!

Talented Artists that have integrity and are interested in making your tattoo personal for you. They don't just want to take your money in trade for some ink. Very happy with my experience.

went for a walk in & Jessica gladly worked with me, she did a good job, she just failed to mention that there was $100 minimum, so I paid $200 for 2 really small finger tats.

The shop is super clean and the staff is extremely friendly. I have seven tattoos that Eric, the owner did. He does amazing work. He and the employees work well together and have a dynamic that is great. It is easy to see they are a cohesive group, and truly care about each other and their customers.

I went there to get a nosepiercing. And i was really nervous but. Once dyland talk to me and very professional i was feeling fine and the place is so clean going back for a tattoo

Got my nose pierced today. Kelly explained exactly how she was going to do the procedure and how it would be different from the piercing I had done several years ago, but had to let it go due to work requirements. It was (almost) pain free and very quick. I would highly recommend her. The shop was very clean and had a good vibe!

Alicia pierced my nose for me and i loved her!!! she made me feel welcomed and comfortable. she waited till i said i was ready to actually pierce it. she walked me through the after care, making sure i knew all the tools were clean and sterile, and what she was doing at all times. seriously an amazing person. she seems like a sick dog trainer too.

So glad I found this place after moving to the area. In the past few months I’ve had to take out my tragus piercings twice and unfortunately can never get the left one back in. Both times Alicia was super friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable and was able to use a taper to get the piercing back in as quickly and as comfortably as possible. The second time this shop was closed so I tried another place and they tried to tell me it needed to be re-pierced. Luckily I had the sense to walk out and wait to get in at American Ultra and Alicia got my jewelry back in quick and easy for literally next to nothing. I can’t express enough how much I appreciate her for not trying to BS me into paying for a whole new piercing and going through the healing process again. Can’t recommend her enough!
