Wife and I on a whim, decided to go get tats. Dark Woods was the only local studio that had time for walk-ins, so we stopped by. my wife's tat took about 30mins start to finish with johnny macc. good dude, did a great job on his tat. I had carly do mine. she was a sweet heart. did a great job on mine as well. over all, great experience.

Got my first tattoo done here not too long ago. Really clean and friendly artists. Knowledgeable. Turned out to be a really sick, awesome looking tattoo. I loved it. I will go here again if/when i decide on another tattoo. (I was worked on by ryan "reptar" funk)

Searched pretty hard to find a shop that I vibed with enough to trust to do a memorial piece for my father, I then found Sandusky at Dark Wood's shop, we've had 2 sessions (its a pretty big piece) and I will tell you I am VERY VERY pleased with the realism he did in my tattoo, his focus, & his energy. This was a very important piece and he has made me feel more than assured I was in great hands, and he has also proven himself too. I have never been happier with a piece. He blew all expectations out of the water that I had in my mind for what this piece was going to look like, he brought it to life. The shop is upbeat, relaxing, you feel at home, they are always smiling. Great place!!!!!!! 5 star++++++++

My experience at Darkwood has been phenomenal. My usual artist there is Sandusky, but I love a lot of the artwork the others put out. Very talented group.
They also do peircing, which helped me immensely with migraine headaches which is worth 5 stars in and of itself.
