Super friendly and very professional! Went for a simple walk in and was very pleased with the outcome!

The piece I wanted was a little too complicated for the artists there so I scheduled a date for my main artist in April. Got a simpler logo piece on my chest, it turned out alright for a walk-in. The font didn't come out exactly like the logo image so I'm getting it touched up by my main artist. Good work but not worth $150... The service was professional, cleanly, and they gave my girlfriend a piece she came up with on the spot. Her tatt turned out really clean.

The artists are good. I was a walk-in and waited about 2 hours, which was fine because it was a Saturday and they were legit busy.
The artist I was assigned to had to go home so I got assigned to a new artist, who was also in a hurry so it was rushed. I almost walked out and said forget it because I didn’t want a rushed tattoo, but I already waited 2 hours and drove from the Dayton area to get it done, so I wasn’t leaving without a tattoo.
They are, however, overpriced. My tattoo literally took 7 minutes to do from start to finish, it is all black, and no shading or anything. All straight lines (I got a very simple arrow). I paid $120. Anywhere else it would have easily been an $80 tattoo. After tax and a tip, I paid $155 for a tiny tattoo.
Minus being overpriced, I would recommend this place to someone, but only by appointment. Skip the wait and being tossed between artists and avoid the risk of being rushed.

I messaged Brian on Instagram originally not knowing it was his day off and he still made time for me and helped me schedule time to see him ! Then when I got there he was super fun and made it so comfortable for me while he tattooed . Not only that I came in with such a simple design wanting it to be better and he added way more than I could have ever asked for ! I’m super happy with my new favorite tattoo and will definitely be booking with Brian again ! Everyone says they are over priced but I disagree you get what you pay for and in this case I paid for quality !

I called before I went to get my tattoo as a “walk-in.” After my arrival, a portly fellow says it’s a couple of hours wait, it’s $50 to get on the list, and there is no “house charge” but the $50 doesn’t go toward the tattoo or does (he couldn’t take the time to be clear about that). I’m sure the artists are fine. The “manager” might need schooling on customer service and possible sensitivity training. Another place will get my business, which I’m sure was his intention.

I've been to a few different tattoos places around Columbus but this is my absolute favorite. The vibe and energy here is so positive from the moment you walk in the door. I believe they have nine artist there and all of them are so nice and so polite and so kind. Everybody just talks to each other throughout the room and it's just like one big happy party. Shout out to Brian Favello who I absolutely love his artistic ability ( he does my tattoos). It's always a great experience from start to finish. I always leave there happy and satisfied and just in a great mood. I would definitely recommend this place to everybody that's interested in getting a tattoo.

I just moved to Ohio from Florida and wanted a tattoo for my 19th birthday in a new place. Saw great reviews and checked out their work and artists. I found Zak, who did an AMAZING job on the start of my sleeve. He was so fun to work with and did a great job in detail and took his time with my piece. Nonetheless, the staff at High Street tattoo creates an amazing environment when you sit through a 4 hour tattoo! Will be back for my next one.

I got a tattoo here about a year ago. It was a spontaneous decision. I walked in on a random weekday night. It was my third tattoo and was really simple, I figured walking in would be fine.
My previous 2 tattoos (got them in Boston) were also very spontaneous and small. Both turned out amazing and both were a really great experience. Both artists were very kind and really wanted to make sure I was getting what I wanted.
My experience at High Street Tattoo unfortunately did not live up to my previous ones. The artist I had was a bit standoffish and quiet, which is fine aside from the fact that I was given some attitude when all I wanted to do was make sure I was getting what I wanted.
I wanted a simple timestamp in standard number format. I showed pictures and the artist went off to draft the stencil. When he returned, it didn’t fit my vision so I gave instructions on how to better fit my vision. We went back and forth maybe 2-3 more times? I didn’t think it was a big deal. Just small changes like “a little bit smaller” or “a little bit more spaced out” or “lines a little thinner”. He was pretty quiet each time, which was fine.
Once we placed the stencil, it was crooked every single time. I had a few friends with me and they all agreed it was genuinely crooked each time. We replaced it trying to get it aligned probably 5-8 times, which I TOTALLY understand is annoying, but seriously I’m not getting something tattooed on me crooked just because I don’t want to be annoying. The manager came by after we couldn’t get it perfectly aligned. I apologized each time for causing trouble and I genuinely felt bad. The manager reassured me it was okay and that it’s easier to straighten it out with the stencil than it will be after the tattoo. I really appreciated this since the artist himself was starting to give me attitude. After I asked to straighten it out, the artist made comments like “that’s exactly where we had it before you made me redo it”. I have major social anxiety and am overly nice as a result lol, so this was super painful for me to ask him to redo it so many times. He was visibly annoyed.
Eventually we got it perfectly aligned. Once he started tattooing, he was quiet and I was feeling a bit upset from the attitude I was given. He also didn’t give me any care tips or warnings, didn’t ask if I was comfortable or to tell him to pause if it was hurting too much. He really did not say a word to me. I brushed it aside since I had gotten 2 tattoos previously and pretty much knew the deal. He tattooed me in complete silence.
Afterwards, I looked at my tattoo in the mirror and it did not look as it did on the stencil. The numbers in the timestamp were wonky and of different sizes. Some numbers were slanted, some lines were significantly thicker. My immediate thought after seeing it was that I need to find a tattoo removal service lol. I actually was really upset afterwards and was really upset the entire night. Of course, I left politely and left the standard tip. Being the millennial that I am, I thanked everyone and left with a smile on my face without ever expressing my disappointment. It has been a year and I still can’t look at the tattoo. Looking at the slanted numbers that are all varying in thickness and wideness and remembering the unpleasant experience makes me really upset. I’ve been brainstorming ideas on how to cover it up and get the timestamp somewhere else since it is meaningful to me.
Of course this review is not a reflection of everyone at this studio and i’m sure the artist has done great work and tattooed iconic pieces on people. It just so happens that my tattoo was not one of them.

Received a dope tattoo from skotty, he made me feel comfortable while receiving my tattoo he made 4 hours feel like 2 hours. He's a funny and entertaining guy, but very comfortable environment, professional staff. Overall best experience during the tattoo process. Definitely now my go to spot. Highly recommended go in and check him out.
