I went to High Street Tattoo a little over a year ago and I have many tattoos that have not faded. For the price I paid around $1,400 and it has faded to the point of not being able to see it anymore. The prices are anything but affordable at this shop. I have many quality pieces from other shops that are 3/4 the cost of going here. Look somewhere else!

Walked in on a Saturday night with an idea, and Ian turned it into the perfect tattoo. He gave me great advice on font, placement, and size. Excellent service throughout. Price was very reasonable. The shop is clean, comfortable, and professional. I followed the aftercare instructions, and it's healed perfectly. Thanks, Ian!

Visiting from Florida and researched High Street as the best place for a walk in tattoo. Josh was great, eased my fears with my first and helped take the design I brought in to next level and was great about placement suggestions. The location downtown is fantastic as well. Just a great experience.

My friend and I called in first to see if they'd take a walk-in at 7 for a tattoo that may take a half an hour (they close at 10). They said yes so we went. The artist came to ask what we wanted and things were fine til that point. He was okay, not friendly but not rude, until we didn't like what design he showed us. When we wanted it changed he got an attitude. He then wouldn't do it any smaller. Said it had to be that size for it to look right... clearly I didn't want it that big. I debated for quite some time because he wouldn't make it smaller... I think this was so he could charge more. I've gotten a lot of work done and they charged $250 for a tattoo with simple lines that took a half an hour. I went ahead and did it. My artist wasn't real friendly, but loosened up a little when he was almost done. I guess that was okay as he was just about his business. Overall, it wasn't an awful experience, but the pricing and attitude when you wanted something different or didn't just go with what they suggested, and them picking the size was a little frustrating.

Waited for 4 hours for an artist to tell me that I should have made an appointment, even though I tried to do that but that same artist never emailed me back. Then he tried to tell my daughter how big her tattoo would have to be so we left and went to Body Language. Don't recommend this tattoo shop at all. Their managers and office staff are very nice. Worst experience at a tattoo shop I've ever had and this will be my 7th tattoo. They're overpriced and got horrible energy. No thanks.

Friendly, fast and great artwork! We expected to wait forever being a walk-in and we didn't! Our tattoos are beautiful, will definitely be going back!

I showed one of the artist a tattoo I wanted, knowing that they could possible do the tattoo based on the descriptions they gave on the website and pictures from their gallery. As soon as I showed the artist the tattoo idea they told me "I don't do those types of tattoos," and didn't refer me to anyone else in the shop and went to talk to their next client.

Very helpful and extremely kind staff took time to assist me with a jewelry question. Even gave me ideas for another retail store. This is how all business should be!

Awesome place. Clean, professional, and full of super nice people. It's a really nice change from the usually elitist attitide of so many tattoo shops.
I've been getting tattooed since the 90s and
I highly recommend getting work done here.
The person I see there is Ian Friend. Amazing artist and a cool person.
