Incredible work by Jay who is highly talented and detail oriented which is good considering Iβm an OCD 36 year old professional and this was my first tattoo. The shop is very clean and the follow-up call on your potential design is fast. Very happy with the quality work, thanks Jay, I will be back!

Not happy at all would not recommend at all!! I wanted an infinity with my maiden name and my married name on my inner wrist. I was told I could not have it there or you would never be able to read the names. So I decided to have it on my foot. Well guess what. I canβt read my maiden name there is a r in my name that you canβt tell is a r on the tattoo. When you ask for an infinity all things should connect. I have 5 spots that do not connect. When I sent them an email they said sure they could fix it but I would have to pay another $50.00. I already paid $150.00 for a tattoo that I am not happy with. They also took a $40.00 deposit from my granddaughter and when we got there the night of our appointment. They told her they could not do the colors she wanted after the consultation she was told it would work. Since I donβt believe it was her fault she did not get something she didnβt want that she should have gotten her deposit back. Again will never recommend. In fact I would not even give them 1 star.

This is an awesome shop. Skilled artists, friendly staff & very good work. I've had a cover up done & working on sleeve. I also had a tat done at another shop in mt Washington that was badly done. My artist at Skintight cleaned it up & made it look so much better. I highly recommend this shop for anybody who is serious about getting a good, we'll done tat.

(Edit 2019)
Came here to have work done for my Wife and Daughter a few weeks ago. They each got matching tattoos. Super simple design with four letters. BOTH tattoos were found to have crooked lines after healing and clearly and visibly needed reworked. My daughter called multiple times to speak to Allen the owner about having him fix the lines because she didn't want the original artist fixing it if he did such a poor job the first time. I realize it's not customary for another artist to fix another artists mistakes in the same shop but Allen is the owner and since I had such a great experience with him in the past I told her to see if he'd make it right under the circumstances.
My daughter called and was finally told Allen was there and would be able to fix it in five minutes no problems. She told my daughter to just come on in. So my daughter gets there ahead of me and talks to Allen who looks at the tattoo but apparently acts as if he doesn't really see much wrong with the lines. He tells her it's up to her if she wants it fixed or not and that he'll do it and it'll only take five minutes.
Now I show up. Allen is now with other customers. When I walk in we're approached by the guy who originally did my wife and daughters tattoos and asked what he can do. She says she's here for a touch up and that Allen is who she's waiting for and she's already spoken to Allen.
This guy proceeds to act surprised and goes to Allen to ask if he knows what's up with us. Now here's the point where Allen could have been the hero and done the right thing but missed it. Allen then looks surprised by us to his employee and after looking at us says we'll need to make an appointment for the fix and that he's now busy with guests.
Just three minutes ago he agreed to fix it and stated it'd take only a few minutes. We were told on the phone to come see him TODAY. That he'd be there until 8 and could fix it in minutes.
Now we're somehow shuffled off to the side and told to make an appointment? And that's he's not available to fix the tattoo until April!? Come on guys!
I expected more from you. A little professionalism here would have done wonders to save the day in many ways.
Now my daughter feels lied to and blown off. We simply left. She'll go elsewhere to fix their mistakes. What a shame. Now I feel bad for recommending them to my wife and daughter when they both have tattoos that need fixing. I won't be back again. I can't in good faith recommend them any longer either after being played like that. It's just bad business to do people that way. Say one thing on the phone and do another upon arriving.
It's not the waiting part. We're not impatient people. She waited until it healed. She did what she was told to do by the shop. She came in. She talked to Allen. Allen agreed to fix it. Suddenly we were told to make an appointment for April after the girl on the phone told us to come in today and have it done. That'd it'd only take a few minutes to fix. It's the bad service. The principal of it. The wasting of our time etc.
Hopefully your experience is different from ours. But I don't appreciate the run around and I don't appreciate Allen acting as if he really couldn't see much issue with the work. It's easy to spot a FEW spots on the tattoo that need fixed.
My wife's is the same but not as bad as my daughters. Unfortunately now we'll go elsewhere to have hers fixed too. Allen does great work but I can't say the same for this other male artist in his shop. To mess up something so absolutely simple as this design is unbelievable let alone seem to not see the obvious mistakes the artist made in it. Wow.

I moved here from Michigan in March of 2012. I started asking around about tattoo artists. The number one recommendation I received was Allen Mills @ Skin Tight Tattoos. I decided to check him out. When I got to the shop he was tattooing. He stopped to help me and I inquired about a sleeve. He explained to me that I would have to make an appointment, TWO MONTHS away. He was that booked with appointments which made me think, WOW he MUST be an Awesome tattoo artist. I put down my deposit and he explained his hourly rate which I thought was very affordable compared to other tattoo shops. Then my 1st appointment came and I saw how clean and sanitary he was which was comforting. He FREEHANDED my entire sleeve from shoulder to wrist. It is DragonScale Armor. The tattoo took seven, four hour sessions and one, two hour session. Total sessions is eight and total hours is thirty. I was consistent will my appointments, which was every 2-3 weeks. I tipped him 20% each session. I believe a 20% tip is customary in any form of the service industry. I also believe in the world of tattoos, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! I am extremely pleased with my choice to get tattoo work done @ Skin Tight Tattoos. Even my Mother who is totally against tattoos, LOVED Allen's work. This is the ONLY tattoo shop in Ohio that I will ever go to.

Jacob did my work. He was quick and did an awesome job. It's the best tattoo I have and I love showing it off. Very reasonable price wise and very clean. I'll get my next one there too.
