Alena did our 3mo babyโs ears and we are so glad she did. She took her time marking her ears and made sure everything was sterile. Iโve gotten a lot of piercings in a big city and was worried about taking her to a smaller shop. Almost Famous was clean, professional and all the staff that day were super friendly and genuine. Highly recommend you go here for pediatric piercings and ask for Alena!

All I can say is this place has some really good vibes and I was super happy with my experience here. When I came in, Aspen did an outstanding job helping me with my questions. The process for getting signed up and everything was very smooth and fast. I had made an appointment to come later and Iโm so glad they were able to get my ear lobes done. It was my first time getting my ears pierced. Maddi was the one who pierced my ears and she did an awesome job at making my experience here memorable. I had great customer care and little to no pain whatsoever. I would highly recommend this place if your wanting your ears pierced. The only thing I was bummed about was that all the selections I wanted were out of stock at the time. Though I was able to sign up for when they do come in stock. ๐

I had Madi and she made it such a fun experience. I was super nervous but she made great conversation to distract me and really educated me on caring for my piercing. They also have great deals like buy one get one free. 10/10 recommend.

I went here on my birthday this July. The staff was very friendly that day and made me very excited to get the piercing. It was very crowded though and it took a long time to actually get the piercing. The piercer was okay but she did go a little slow which didnโt make the experience too great. I loved the placement though but the jewerly I was given doesnโt seem to be very high quality and the products I got to clean my piercing arenโt working very well at all. Iโm a bit disappointed in how itโs been turning out so I personally wouldnโt go back

Went in to get 2 helix piercings today and was very impressed with how sterile they keep everything. Also was very impressed with how chill and sweet the employees are. I haven't had piercings done in over a decade and wanted to try something new and I'm very pleased with my results! The girl who did them was skilled and confident and I enjoyed talking to the employees. They were especially helpful since I had my child with me and did their best to entertain my baby while I was getting the piercings done. Very pleased!

Everyone was nice, I guess, but I asked for a stud/bar slightly smaller than the one I was pierced with, they said they gave me the "next size down", but its way way to small (i was given a 6mm when i should have gotten an 8), so im not sure if they grabbed the right thing? I live like 4 hours away and can't just do a walk-in like normal, so when I went home to put it in, I was very disappointed when it didn't fit and now I've spent about $40 on something I can't ever wear because it's way too small. I'm also very inexperienced when it comes to piercings, so I had absolutely no idea what I was looking for and trusted the employees to help me.
Edit: I reached out to them 4 business days ago and they have not contacted me back.

Almost Famous is my desperate times call for desperate measures shop. I hate leaving bad reviews. Sometimes things are out of an employeesโ control. I purchased some earrings - 7/8 saddles and they did not fit. Iโve had this size for over 10 yrs and have had stretched ears for 25. The earrings I purchased were 15/16 not the 7/8 as labeled. I took a caliper and measured myself, as thatโs what typical pro shops use and have very personal connections in the industry. Staff didnโt know what I was talking about or have a caliper on hand, which is scary in itself because they are piercing people but do not have the proper knowledge or tools to do so). Totally get the policy of not returning but do not understand how staff doesnโt know how to measure jewelry. The earring didnโt fit properly in the plate for size. Really makes me wonder how many other sizes are mislabeled due to not having the proper tools and training. The staff was friendly enough but just bums me out that they canโt work at their full potential. My mistake for even the attempt of purchase and should have just went with Chuckโs as he is THE daddy of piercing.

I came in a few days ago with a friend to buy new jewelry. After working in customer service for years, it irritates me when employees are rude in their demeanor. The inside of the store is so crammed together, the employee working the till/front of store didn't seem to have any kind of patience with questions. I had asked her if she could recommend a good size jewelry for my cartilage piercings, and she told me she wasn't sure. The piercer had just walked out as I was asking her, so she grabbed the piercer quick to have her check. She also seemed very impatient, didn't even examine the size- just told me "Yeah that size looks good." So I spent 75 dollars on 2 pieces of jewelry that ended up being an okay size for the actual holes, but the diameter of them folds my ear in. Theyre so uncomfortable and their return policy is no returns or exchanges. So I'm out 75 dollars for earrings I can't comfortably wear. I ordered new ones online, which I wish I would have done in the first place.
Overall dissatisfied with the entire experience from the moment I walked into the store. My friend also pointed out the way they were turning walk-ins away, was done in a very unprofessional manner. No "I'm sorry, we don't have time today but you could try again tomorrow!" Instead it was "No we don't have time today." A business is only as good as its employees! I'd suggest doing some kind of team reminder about customer service, and jewelry knowledge.
