My husband and I just got our first tattoos from here. Our experience was 100% positive. Everyone was friendly and we didn't feel judged or uncomfortable. Colby was our tattoo artist. She was very professional and told us what would and would not work, which I appreciated. She was patient with us and did exactly what we wanted. We are very pleased with our tattoos and will definitely be going back for more!

I'm so happy I found Phoenix! It's the best experience I've ever had getting a tattoo. Brain was professional and welcoming. The shop was clean and every staff member I interacted with was nice and helpful.

Phoenix has become my go-to shop in the Triangle for high quality artwork. The artists are competent, creative professionals who do outstanding custom work in a variety of styles. I have yet to see any disappointing work out of this shop, and highly recommend them for anyone looking to get a new custom piece.

First let me start out with, that i loved my experience here. I went in back in December 2015 to get a memorial tattoo for a family member. My artist was Craig and he was wonderful. Polite, funny, took what i wanted and actually made it better than what i had in mind honestly.
My only problem is that afterwards the tattoo has a few spots that look as if.. well the only way i can describe it is as (if when you're writing and don't press down hard enough with the pen/pencil and it doesn't really show up..)
Half of the tattoo is awesome but unfortunately the other half is not as great. A couple of the letters are not the same and the shading and line work is bad. Now i was nervous and tense. So if that much was my fault, i take credit for it 100%, but other than that. That's my review.

absolutely recommend Phoenix Tattoos. Have only been tattooed there by Rob, and have loved the outcome every single time. Very personable, and does excellent work. As far as the other artists there, I cannot speak to their work as I have not had them, but they are all extremely nice and have great senses of humor. Overall excellent place to go!

Pheonix Tattoo has an awesome staff and great enviornment! I got my first tattoo here yesterday! It was very intricate with a lot of lines and dot shading, so they told me at the counter that Brian was the right man for thd job. We hashed out the design, and set up an appointment. Brian was wonderful! He did this large peice in 3hrs and 15min and pays very close attention to detail and has impecable lines! I love his work and will be back for more! 😄❤

Visiting from Atlanta and dropped in with my aunt to get tattoos together. The staff was honest, knowledgeable, and did a solid job on our ink; plus the shop provided the post-tattoo ointment. This was my 8th time in a chair at various locations over the years, and it was the best experience I've had to date. Thanks, Paul and Brian

Best shop around with the nicest artist!s Been going to Lacie for years and every time she impresses me more and more. I generally have an idea and some photos but Lacie somehow turns them into a piece even better than I envisioned. Will always come back to Phoenix for work!!

I moved to the Raleigh area several years ago and was hesitant about finding a new tattoo artist. After some research I decided on Phoenix Tattoo. I looked at the various portfolios and decided I wanted Lacie to my tattoo because of the kind of work she does. I made an appointment for a consultation and pricing because I was getting a rather large tattoo and wasn't sure how much I would be investing in it. She was very professional, listened to my ideas, and tweaked them from there. I was quoted a price (they charge by the hour), and was given an estimate on how long it would take. Everything seemed reasonable to me, so I went ahead and scheduled the tattoo appointment. I had to wait a couple months, but that was ok because all good things are worth waiting for, right? When I came back everything was ready to go and so the process started. I brought a book along to read because it was going to be a 3+ hour appointment, and didn't want to get bored just sitting there. Well I think we ended up chatting the whole time about this and that and I don't think I actually read very much. My tattoo came out great, took just under 3 1/2 hours with no breaks, and was only charged for the 3 hours which was great. After 4 years the tattoo still looks fantastic, and only had to go back once for a touchup. People are amazed at how well it looks, and can't believe it's a 4 year old tattoo. I would HIGHLY recommend Lacie at Phoenix Tattoo...she's worth the wait...trust me.
