I was very disappointed with the customer service I received and the end result of my tattoo. I called about a week in advance asking to make an appointment with Cheyanne I was told that she was booked up but if there was a cancellation I’d be “next in line”I was also quoted $80-$150 for my small colored tattoo. When I arrived at my scheduled time (12pm) After waiting 30 minutes, the artist Bobby called me over, come to find out Cheyanne was completely free trying to fill her cancellation spot. He made the stencil a lot bigger than what I had asked for so when I said I wanted it smaller he argued with me that he wouldn’t be able to do a black outline that I specifically said I didn’t want. After a few more alterations to the stencil, He then walked away to ask a different artist if they had a specific needle size the other artist recommended a smaller needle but he just went with the one he wanted to use. When he finally started he never asked me if I was comfortable and did a black outline anyway then proceeded to charge me $200.

Mike is amazing !!!! He did a medium sized forearm tattoo for me under 2 hours! Line work is very clean!! I will definitely be coming back to get more tattoos done by Mike.

I can’t stress this enough: I’m home. I love this place. This was probably the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had and trust me, I’ve had quite a few. Jasmine is everything you’d want in an artist: talented, timely, light-handed and extremely personable. She was kind enough to squeeze my mother and I in for matching Prince tattoos. What does she do? Have a Prince playlist playing for us at the appointment! How kind and thoughtful of the customer. She even touched up a tattoo another artist did for me. I almost cried; her touch-up was better than the original. I’ve already decided I’m coming to her for all my future ink.
Also, if you’ve got some ink that’s time has come and gone, talk to Frank. He’s got you on the removal.

I made an appointment for me and 2 of my cousins to come up here on a Saturday to get a few tattoos. Before coming up there I sent them a sketch of a kawaii cupcake that I had drawn up to be my tattoo. I also wanted to do a wedding band since I don't wear mine but they recommended that I don't do that since the hands get a bit more wear on them and it would fade quicker, so I ended up with just a simple heart. Trent, took my sketch and tweaked it a bit to make it a bit more streamlined and dimensional and I'm actually happier with what he came up with. Speaking of...Trent was awesome! Very laid back, chill and funny. We had a blast hanging out and chatting with him. He did an awesome job on my tattoos and I would highly recommend him. Everyone at the shop was friendly and funny and made us feel very welcome.

I asked for referrals and looked around at a few places to remove a 2 year old, regrettable tattoo and found myself at Tattoo Bill’s. My experience here so far has been fantastic! I'm 3 treatments in and the results are definitely noticeable each time. The staff has been super professional, personal, and makes sure you are satisfied and comfortable at each visit.
My top reasons to go here:
- Much more reasonably priced than what I found anywhere else around Charlotte, considering my unwanted tattoo is fairly large and I'm a college student on a somewhat tight budget. I even drive from Columbia SC but still worth it.
- Tattoo removal is painful, but they have a really awesome cooling machine to helps numb the area during the session.
- Again, the staff is super helpful and punctual. I've always had my appointments start right on time and my visits have never lasted more than 10-15 minutes.
- I’ve asked several friends and coworkers and Tattoo Bill’s was referred quite often.
That being said, if you have some ink you aren't a fan of anymore go straight to Tattoo Bill’s Tattoo Removal. They know what they're doing. I’ll keep everyone posted with my progress.
