I accidentally came about canvas tattoo by accident I met Michael Barnhill out one night complimented him on his artwork work. He then told me, he was a tattoo artist. He gave me the name of the place and I told him I'd come down. I went down to get a Consultation and then scheduled my appointment. Great kid Great Job. Thank u Michael!!!!!

They got us in for the same day but they charged us 150$ for three small words, didn’t tell us a price until the stencil was already placed, and the guy who did it wasn’t very personable. This was by far one of the worst tattoo experiences I’ve ever had.

I had a very terrible experience at Canvas. Let me explain what happened.
We agreed on a price and time before I arrived. I traveled three hours to get the tattoo. The tattoo design changed, but it ended up costing me over $1000 more than our original agreed upon prince. He took two consultations while I was in the chair, so I spent 9 hours in the shop to only be tattood for 5 hours. When I asked simple questions about that tattoo, he aggressively answered, "let me work." It felt like he cared more about what he wanted to tattoo rather than what I wanted on my body. I stayed overnight in a hotel to have the tattoo finished the next day. We agreed to meet at 9am, but I get a text at 3 am asking to push the start time back. He pushed the tattoo time back three times, so we didn't start until 12:30. He took another consultation before we started which wasted another 30 minutes of my time. (Mind you, this is during a work week, so I took time off work to be there.) When I complained about wasting my time, he threatened to not do the tattoo after I already paid him $1500. He worked on the tattoo for another two hours, but it still wasn't finished. He stacked clients after me so he couldn't finish the tattoo. I left the shop leaving one of my personal items behind. To which, the shop said it wasn't there, so someone definitely stole my stuff. It was incredibly difficult to schedule another session to get the tattoo finished after I spent over $2000 on it. It got to the point where I was preparing to take legal action against the shop. Finally, 3 weeks go by and I am able to get the tattoo finished. After I leave the shop, I realize he didn't fill in 2 very noticeable sections of the tattoo. He once again stacked clients after me, so he ran out of time to finish the tattoo (remember, I had to drive 3 hours a second time to get this done). To add insult to injury, he took the liberty of drawing over one of my previous tattoos which I did not agree to and had no idea he was doing that. (A tattoo he criticized before I even sat down in the chair.) The tattoo was pretty good overall, but the experience was horrible.
