I got my first tattoo in North Carolina from Scott and I love it. It was the best healing tattoo I've ever had! When I wanted another tattoo, I returned to the shop and talked to all the guys there, getting all of their opinions. Not one minute did I feel pressured to get a tattoo and they were very honest about what would and wouldn't work instead of doing whatever I wanted regardless of logistics and how it would look in years to come. I eventually came up with a few random ideas I'd hoped to throw into one tattoo (which I thought would be very difficult to do) and Derick did a fantastic job incorporating every element I'd wanted into an awesome tattoo! My experiences with both Scott and Derick were great and I will not be going to another shop for any future tattoos!

I went yesterday for my first tattoo and have to say I had an AMAZING experience. The shop is so clean and everyone follows strict hygeine practices within the shop; always changing gloves, sanitizing tools, and having everything clean and ready to go for each customer.
I was of course scared as this was my first tattoo but Scott handled it amazingly. He was willing to stop if I needed to and asked how I was doing and even told me for a first timer I was doing really well. He joked and helped me get my mind off of getting it done and the end result is AMAZING.
What a great experience I had at DD and will be definitely returning for more ink in the future!

Very professional, clean, and friendly.
I appreciated that when I stopped by to meet them, they looked at my ideas, and set me up with the artist who matched with what I needed. I liked that the first artist knew there was a better match for me, I wouldn't have known.
They asked about my timeline, gave me a fair estimate, and the day I showed up Tooch ( Who I recommended) had multiple options to show me.
Overall I can only say nice things. Stop by and talk to them!

Scott and the team do an excellent job! We are working respectivelly on our 3rd and 4th tattoos with them, and all of them have healed great and look crisp! They will tell you how to make your idea or concept work, not just yes to anything and not worry about the outcome. I totally recommend them!!

Double deuce tattoo is definitely the best tattoo shop in the area I have quite a few tattoos and I have always trusted the staff there to knock it out of the park and they never let me down. Always top notch work! Very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I also recently just got my ears pierced and tooch (the piercer) was really awesome and polite and I was in and out in no time. Stop in and go see them and you will be glad you didn't go anywhere else!

I’ve had nothing but the best from the guys at Double Deuce. I initially went there about 3 years ago to get a train wreck on my arm fixed and the results were amazing. Scott did a super job recovering what I had and turning it into a wonderful piece. Since then my wife has gone to Double Deuce, Scott, to get a full back piece and it looks great. I have also integrated more work into the initial repair job and am on my way to having a full sleeve. These guys do more than tracing flash art onto skin. The staff has always been courteous, timely, and professional. I would highly recommend anyone to go to Double Deuce for any art work.

Double deuce is an awesome shop. All the staff are incredibly personable and talented. I just got my 2nd tattoo here and again was not disappointed. Scott knocked my first session on my lighthouse tattoo out of the park. I can't wait for my 2nd session and all my tattoos to come.
