All female staff and very knowledgeable about piercings as well as a great selection of jewelry. Tattoo artist does amazing work. They have been rated the best tattoo parlor in Western North Carolina for over 15 years straight. Please adhere to their policies and schedule your appointments through their website. I've received many tattoos and piercings from them for over 12 years. They never disappoint!

Our 5 year old daughter decided she wanted her ears pierced. After a lot of research, we made an appt with Jenn. I am so incredibly thankful we booked with her. She was AMAZING! I was extremely impressed. Of course this was a scary time for a little one, and for mommy too :) But she made my little girl so comfortable by asking her questions to divert her attention. She made us laugh! She was extremely meticulous and was sure that we were pleased with the placement. She talked her through every step. I don’t usually take the time to make reviews. However, Jenn totally deserves 5 stars! She definitely has a passion for what she does and we are so thankful! Recommend 100%

Went to Jenn for a septum piercing and she was fantastic! She had such a positive, firecracker kind of vibe! She was very informative about all the cleaning and upkeep, and was fast, efficient and clean. I will definitely be returning for future piercings.

I looked at the reviews of several other places before deciding on Man's Ruin, nowhere else had the glowing reviews regarding the staff. Not only are they female owned and operated, super friendly, the shop is welcoming, clean and meticulously maintained. Piercer Jenn is spectacular! She told me everything up front, then again as well did it step by step. Jenn is a person who loves what she does and it shows through her work! Professional and kind! I would recommend this shop to anyone and I will definitely be back for my next piercing.

I have been to Man's Ruin 3 times over the years. Heather and Jen are so professional, the shop is so clean, are reasonably priced, respectful, honest, and they listen to what you are looking for and design around your specifications. My husband was even open to seeing Heather for his tattoos last year after using another artist in the past. Not only did she revive a previous tattoo, she did new ink work to it, and he was very pleased. Everywhere we go we get compliments on our ink. These ladies are the best in the

I love this place and these ladies. Heather did my first tattoo about 20 years ago and Jenn did my nose piercing about 5 years ago. Just the other day I was in there to buy a piece (turned into pieces) of jewelry and Jenn listened and understood exactly what I wanted and then showed me with complete detail on all the options. She took the time and attention to detail to make sure my peircings were the right size and filed to perfection. All while engaging in insightful conversation with me. She makes you feel like a friend even if you've never met her. Back when Heather did my first tattoo, I had a bit of anxiety attack during the process. Both her and Jenn went above and beyond to take care of me. They calmed me down, brought me water, and assured me it was very common and that I wasn't weird. It was such a safe place. I would recommend them to anybody interested in a tattoo or peircing.
