Went in for a tattoo app on the 6th of January, 2021. Woody, who was supposed to be finishing my left sleeve didn't show up and didn't call me back either; a normal person would've at least called me back in a instance like this. Tried calling back three times with no success to get ahold of the artist. Shouldn't of had to do that, but I truly believe in working with people from all walks of life, no matter who they are.
Been getting tattooed for nearly 10 years now, so I know life problems happen sometimes, even with COVID-19 going on. I'm also (normally speaking) a really good client, pay well, and have always maintained a strong relationship with my artists in every shop in every state I've been in. That being said this is the first I ever had this happen to me out of the blue. Bottom line, I extremely disappointed and cannot let this off the hook (hence, the review).
I genuinely wish both the staff and Woody at Mellow Madness well (believe it or not) and wish them continued success, but after this BS, I gotta move on. Take care.

I have been going to Mellow Madness for my tattoos for over a year now, I always work with Andy, who actually did one of my very first tattoos many years ago. Not only is the shop very clean, artists talented and creative, but the entire experience is very relaxed and professional. For me it is very important to be able to communicate with the artist and throw ideas out to them that I cannot put on paper myself, Andy certainly exceeds my expectations with every piece he has done for me. I highly recommend Mellow Madness for anyone looking for an excellent tattoo experience. 5 stars

I went in to have a tattoo made, yes my very first tattoo at that, I had a design in mind and a basic design at that. Dave took and dressed it up and a week later I have a great looking tattoo. The people that work there are super great and I am very happy with the design and how much time and effort was put into taking a very basic design and making it into a work of art

Super clean, everyone was very friendly. Woody did my tattoo and it came out perfectly! Even let me watch him design it, which was very cool and relaxing. Definitely going back there for my next one!

I have ~10 tattoos, the latter half are all from Mellow Madness. The artists are professional, skilled and laid back. Can't go wrong with any of these guys.
It's not just the excellent work that makes this shop stand out, it's the whole atmosphere.
My personal recommendation is to Woody who has done my last 3- top notch ink.

Great experience at mellow madness! Great environment and awesome work! Came in with an idea of a tattoo and worked with woody- he took my idea and made it even better. Spent a lot of time on sketch and the actual work- really took his time and I really appreciate that. Will definitely be going back, and would recommend this place to my friends!
