If you are looking for a great piece of skin art, in a clean, sterile shop, tattooed by a talented tattoo artist, this is the place to be!!! Highly recommended. Don't believe me, take look at Tom's portfolio of great work on their website, FaceBook, or even stop by in person and check out the numerous books in his shop and see for yourself.

Any experience I've had here has always been phenomenal! Raz-a-Tat has done either my tattoos or piercings since I was 18 years old. Most recently after suffering from migraines Tom recommended the daith piercing to me, I have not experienced one since. Tom's work is very professional and he takes great pride in it, whether he creates something for you, like my most recent piece which I just love or you make a selection out of a book. I wouldn't go any where else and suggest him to everyone I know!

Cane here to get my ears pierced. First time at this shop, but have many tattoos and had several piercings from others. Razz-a-Tat was awesome! Clean, great ambience, fast, super friendly, and informed. My ears healed in four weeks, with no "crusties"! Blown away by this lil gem of a shop, and plan to go back for more piercings and tattoos! :)

Great experience. Tom and Becky both are super sweet and made us feel very welcome! Love Tom's work and can't wait to go back for more!

We live in upstate NY and went over to this tattoo parlor based on some good reviews on Google. Our experience was not so good. We made the appointment for my daughter to get two small words tattood on her inner wrist to memorialize her cousin who recently passed away. Our whole family is getting the same tattoo, in the same place, oriented "upside down" so WE could read it. Other tattoo artists have explained to us that "technically" arm work should be oriented so that it can be read right side up by your audience. All of them, once we explained what we were doing, agreed to do it the way we wanted. They understood the personal meaning to us and that we didn't care one iota about others reading or even seeing it. That is except this tattoo parlor in Bennington. And it wasn't his patent refusal to do it the way we wanted but the sheer arrogance, lack of compassion, and obnoxiousness he displayed to us in his shop that has me writing this review. He was belligerent to me, a 52 year old adult, who simply asked one or two questions about why he wouldn't do what we wanted. After getting loudly lectured about the rules of tattoing, and his 38 years of experience, it was clear we weren't going to entrust him with something so personal in nature to our family. His obnoxious refusal made it a no brainier for us. He kept half of my $50 deposit for"wasting" his time and probably because there was some set up involved. But, the truth is he refused to do the work. I don't even care about the money to be quite candid. It was unacceptable that my daughter, looking to have a positive experience memorializing a tragic event, walked out of that tattoo parlor in tears. I'm sure they do fine work but we'll never know, we'll never go there again, and we'll never recommend them to anyone we know. I gave them 2 stars because the young lady who worked there tried very hard to provide cover for him.

I got my first tattoo here when I was 16 (2 years ago) and my tattoo turned out not great..few clean lines, not great shading, and just not positioned well. I got a cardinal for my grandma who just passed away and it does not do her Justice!! THE TAIL LOOKS LIKE BACON?? The tattoo artist (Tom I believe) was polite but it was rushed and done in about 45 minutes. Actually looking to get it covered now unfortunately :(

Tried to make an appointment to get a piercing but could only reach through text. I asked questions about appointments which were responded to extremely vaguely and not at all punctually. When I finally succeeded in making an appointment, I arrived to find everyone inside completely maskless and in violation of cdc recommendations. Quickest way to lose a customer possible. Dissapointed.

Raz-A-Tat Tattoo is amazing. Tom does an awesome job on tattoos. He has done most of mine. I recommend everyone to go to him for a tattoo.

Went there put a 50$ deposit down and booked an appointment. Told them what I wanted and booked it for 2 weeks out and now today's the day of my tattoo. He sent me a sketch and it looked horrible it was very crooked and didn't match up one side was bigger than the other . I told him I wasn't happy with the sketch he said that's not the final draft he would send it to me soon but up'd the price as soon as I said that, to 500. Which he quoted me anywhere from 350-500 when i booked my appointment .. he's has horrible customer service skills. Heard it used to be a good shop idk what happened. He also told me he has someone coming to take my design if I don't want it which is very unprofessional! Still havent received a final copy and my appointment is supposed to be in 4 hours .... very unprofessional attitude! They made 50$ for nothing. Don't recommend.
