I went to get my first tattoo the other day and he didn’t take his time and he was very rude. I asked how his day was and he quickly said fine like he just wanted to get the tattoo over with. Being that it was my first tattoo and I was already really nervous. He made me feel so uncomfortable it was honestly unacceptable. I won’t let anyone go here because of the experience I had 🙅🏽♀️

Nick does phenomenal work. My wife had some ugly bows from a previous artist back in Colorado. And she had been wanting to make them prettier. Nick accomplished that task, along with the new addition to the bows. She absolutely loves the work!!!

2 years ago (11/2015) I went in to talk with John about designing a tattoo. I gave him the cash for the deposit he required and he told me he would start drawing. January of 2016 (8 weeks later) after calling several times to check with him, but told he was 'out' each time, I finally went in to find out what was going on. John had not even done any drawings for me. I told him I still wanted to work with him and he promised to send me pictures soon. In about a week he texted me a half finished sketch which I replied to with some suggestions for further work. 2 weeks go by and no word back from calls and texts. I go by the shop again (it has been 12 weeks since my deposit at this point) to talk to John but he is out again. The one guy who is there cannot find any record of my deposit nor a copy of the design of which John had texted me a picture. After 3 months of leg work I wrote off John and his shop. I am still disappointed by how I was treated = lost money, no tat and completely disrespected on multiple occasions. I suggest everyone be wary of doing business with John and his shop
THIS IS NOT A COMMENTARY ABOUT HIS TATTOO WORK, HE NEVER FINISHED ANY WORK FOR ME . . .
I have since had all of my other tattoos done at 'Star Tattoo' by artist Victor Vegas. Great group over there, great to hang with during the long hours of my tats. "STAR TATTOO" does fantastic work and never once gave me the run around. I will endorse Star Tattoo ***** (5 Stars) for their work and their attitude. I will also be going back to Star for my tats from now on.

Absolutely great experience!! "Machine Gun Shay" can work magic. I have never found greater tattoo artist, and definitely recommend to see her. Even when she moves to Albuquerque I will fallow her like a puppy.
