Review of Tinta Cantina
Tinta Cantina: A Tattoo Shop with Mixed Reviews
Tinta Cantina is a tattoo shop located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The shop offers a range of tattoo services, including traditional, black and grey, and color tattoos. The shop is open seven days a week, but the hours of operation are not available.
While Tinta Cantina has received some positive reviews, the shop has also received several negative reviews from customers. Some customers have praised the shop for its talented artists and reasonable prices. One customer even had a pawprint of their dog done and was beyond happy with the outcome. However, other customers have criticized the shop for its unsanitary practices, rude staff, and unprofessional service. One customer claimed that they were charged $100 for a quarter-sized tattoo that looked like it was done by a two-year-old. Another customer claimed that they got an infection and had to take out their piercing because the tools used were open and not cleaned.
It is important to note that some of the negative reviews are from several years ago, and the shop may have improved since then. However, it is still important for potential customers to do their research and read reviews before getting a tattoo or piercing at Tinta Cantina.

I asked for a simple star of David, which i did get but it turned out horrible, the lines were not close to straight not to mention the needles WERE DIRTY!! YES DIRTY. I DON'T RECOMMENDED THIS PLACE AT ALL!!

Santi did a black band on my arm as a memorial piece for my sister. She had died only a few days before and he was so kind. Not to mention the tattoo looks amazing, the lines are straight and beautiful.

I often look online for reviews on places prior to going, but alot of these one stars seem inaccurate. This place is welcoming and I felt very at home getting my tattoo. Jerrett understood my concept and the execution of it, was EXACTLY what I wanted. Tyson, also a really great artist here. These negative reviews sound like whiny kids who don't know how to act sociable or properly convey what they want.

Great tattoo artist. They allow smoking inside the shop so it always smells heavily like cigarettes. They do charge a bit more than other places for the same tattoo.

Spent an hour driving there after speaking on the phone with the very polite receptionist only to be directed to an artist that specialized in a completely different style than what I asked for. My consultation with this artist consisted of a handshake followed by being immediately snubbed me off in the most pretentious manner possible. Thanks. Won't be back.

Been the a great place for a tattoo by far. Staff are super courteous, and helpful. The atmosphere is welcoming, can't ask for anything else in a shop like this.

I got a fairly simple tattoo (my first!) here a week or two ago. I don't remember the name of the artist who helped me, but he was patient and helpful. I had a lot of questions and he answered all of them. Can't wait to get another one! :)

Got my first tattoo here and had a wonderful experience. Jerrett was wonderful and sweet-talked about Star Wars with my friend while he did my tattoo. And it looks amazing!
