Review of Tinta Cantina
Tinta Cantina: A Tattoo Shop with Mixed Reviews
Tinta Cantina is a tattoo shop located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The shop offers a range of tattoo services, including traditional, black and grey, and color tattoos. The shop is open seven days a week, but the hours of operation are not available.
While Tinta Cantina has received some positive reviews, the shop has also received several negative reviews from customers. Some customers have praised the shop for its talented artists and reasonable prices. One customer even had a pawprint of their dog done and was beyond happy with the outcome. However, other customers have criticized the shop for its unsanitary practices, rude staff, and unprofessional service. One customer claimed that they were charged $100 for a quarter-sized tattoo that looked like it was done by a two-year-old. Another customer claimed that they got an infection and had to take out their piercing because the tools used were open and not cleaned.
It is important to note that some of the negative reviews are from several years ago, and the shop may have improved since then. However, it is still important for potential customers to do their research and read reviews before getting a tattoo or piercing at Tinta Cantina.

This shop has some really talented artists and reasonable prices. Mike Roybal has done my whole torso. He does the best traditional in Albuquerque. π₯

They over charged my little sister 100$ for a quarter size tattoo that looks like it was done by a two year old!! Very unprofessional totally took at vantage of a young lady looking for a nice first tattoo! Charged her 100 for 10 minutes of Amateur work!

I asked for a Rainbow Dash tattoo and they used a dirty, YES DIRTY, needle. It was WAY overpriced for 1 tattoo, the service is TERRIBLE and lines were VERY shaky. the place is very dirty iβm almost sure i saw a rat run across the shop, DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

The most unprofessional place Iβve ever been too. I came to NM to spend a couple weeks with my sister and decided to get matching tattoos. We ended up with very messy tattoos. You see the rest of the reviews talking about a βdirty needleβ? WELL THEYβRE TRUE. It is absolutely disgusting. I wouldβve rather done my tattoo myself.

I went to a different tattoo shop on the west side to get a gift card for my friend and they made things really complicated so I left and drove over to Tinta Cantina and I was able to buy a gift card no problem! The Miss at the front was super sweet and the shop is really inviting! I love the art everywhere and the vibe β€οΈ

I came here with my bestie Amelie to get matching tattoos with her. We went back there and they gave me the wrong thing. Shaky lines galore. This place smells disgusting and even tattooed my friends face on some random biker? This place is horrid. I won't be coming back here. I was so ashamed that I couldn't bring myself to capture point A

The absolute worst tattoo experience Iβve ever had. They charged me $100 and finished my tattoo in 10 minutes. The quality is so horrible no one can recognize what it is. Absolutely horrible quality. It was my first ever tattoo and they completely took advantage of me. When I called to get a refund they told me it was my fault. NEVER GO HERE!!!! I wish I could give them less stars.

it was a dirty shop and bad quality art. a dirty sewing needle off the floor was used for my tattoo. he didnt wear gloves and also didnt clean it at the end. on top of that the artist was very disrespectful and called me a racial slur upon entering the shop. do not recommend to anyone and will not come again.

I am beyond happy with how my dog's pawprint came out. TK, thank you for listening to my stories about her and honoring her memory with your amazing artwork. The detail is above and beyond what I had hoped for. Thank you!

They used a dirty sewing needle they found on the floor and started tattooing. I asked for a tattoo of a mouse to represent my dead grandmother and instead they tattooed Widowmaker from Overwatch. I am NOT coming back.
UPDATE: I heard from friends that the tattoo shop has gotten better, so I decided to give it a try. I went back there and they immediately set me on fire. How unprofessional!
