I love this shop and the people here! I’ve gotten three tattoos here from David and I can’t rave enough about his artwork. He’s brought every single idea that I’ve had to life in such an amazing way. The attention to detail and pure creativity is astounding. Every tattoo artist is also super supportive of each other it’s really amazing to see.

Upon arriving, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I got a foot tattoo done by Bo, he wanted to make sure I left happy with a finished tattoo. Line work is crisp and clean. I recommend this place to everyone who are looking for good artists.

About 7 months ago I had a bad experience with a tattoo artist at this location. My review was kinda harsh, so I decided to change my review and based the review on the shop itself and not on just 1 artist. The shop itself is welcoming. Some artists are nice and take pride in the work they do. Do your research on each artist. Just don't choose the first artist you see. If something goes wrong, At the end of the day, it will be their word against yours. You have to carry their artwork on you for the rest of your life. I was one of the unlucky ones to receive a tattoo I wasn't happy with. Now 7 months later, I'm proud to say someone else fixed and accomplished exactly what I wanted to be done. Would I recommend my friends and family to come here for a tattoo? Most likely NOT. One bad apple can ruin the whole tree. After receiving a rushed tattoo from a money-hungry artist, I learned my lesson. I know covid19 hit the tattoo shop industry hard. But that doesn't mean they can charge premium for a tattoo that was hard to look at. I'm sure Ahava have some great artist. If someone else experienced what I went thru, pls contact the owner or speak to someone that can help. I'm sure ahava would be more than happy to make things right. Stay blessed.

I love this shop! I had an amazing experience working with David M. We worked together on creating a tattoo piece around gemini, time, universe, and space which turned out amazing. I spent 5 months looking for an artist around the Philadelphia area which seemed impossible for the style I wanted. David’s style of tattooing is one of a kind and honestly I’m surprised he is not in LA/ NYC because his talent is EXTREME. Throughout the process he showed up on time, got busy and started working. This tattoo meant the world to me, it’s not just art but something deeper that tells my story of who I am. I've been going to Matt since he was at Omkara Tattoo and wouldn't go to anyone else. He does phenomenal work and at very fair pricing. He could easily be charging more for his work. He's done two full arm sleeves on me, currently working on a full leg sleeve, and after that my back and other leg. He is my artist for life and would recommend anyone to him! His other artists at the shop are also very talented! Give them a shot you won't regret it!

This place has the potential to be great, but I would not recommend paying for your tattoo in advance if you want a finished product. The guy that did my tattoo originally was fired, and the owner said he was touching it up only because he felt bad for me. No! I paid your shop for a service and it should be finished. It's been 7 months. I will be happy to adjust this review when a solution has been made.

Matt G is an amazing artist, and a very personable guy. When I met Matt, he made me feel comfortable from the start, knowing I was making a major investment, that would be permanent to my body. I couldn't be more happy choosing Matt G and Ahava Tattoo to do my work. I'm currently working on my second piece which is a half sleeve cover up, and couldn't be more happy with the outcome so far. This guy is a true genius when it comes to tattooing. Check him out!!
