After moving to Reno, I had been looking for a shop to finally get more work done, and after seriously researching it I decided on Marked. And every step of the way I was extremely glad that I did. From the ease of the consultation, to the pricing, to the communication with the staff, to the stellar work itself. Callista was hands down the best artist I have ever worked with. Not just the outstanding technical quality of the work, but her being an easygoing, friendly, awesome human. I am beyond grateful that I found this place, and I can safely say that I will never go anywhere else again.

My experience with Marked was a roller coaster. I did not like it, then I had the best experience with Mark and his apprentice. I love my moon and they were fun and funny and genuine. I am glad I gave it another try. Thanks Mark!

This place has an ego problem and I haven't even been in there. I filled out their form online with a short description of how I wanted a hawk wing cover up (easy) tattoo. It took them 3 weeks to respond and when they did they said they were unable to do my piece because they're a 'prominent' tattoo studio and gave no further explanation. Okay, good to know, I'll take my $$$ elsewhere!

I got my fifth tattoo from Marked Studios in October. My experience was great; I sent in my idea and reference photos on the Marked Studios website, and was matched with Mark Moots. I met with Moots for a consultation in early August and had my tattoo done in late October. The interaction with all the staff was very friendly and professional. The atmosphere of the studio is welcoming and clean - I have found that some tattoo studios can be intimidating to be in, but I did not feel that from any of the staff or the vibe of the place itself. Mark Moots was professional, kind, and placed a beautiful piece of art on my body. One of the things I liked most about my experience that I have not found at other studios is that I was sent home with a care package with moisturizer, cleanser, and instruction for how to care for my tattoo. I think more studios should do this because it makes the experience less stressful and, likely, more successful. I would definitely recommend Marked Studios for your first tattoo if you find other studios to be intimidating.

I was in this past week for my ninth tattoo, and first at Marked. My experience was wonderful. Taylor did an impeccable job, and was lovely to work with. Overall, everyone is incredibly friendly, and the care the take with clients is the absolute best. They supply you with soap and lotion for aftercare, and even call to follow up on your healing progress. I’ll be going back as soon as I have a new idea.

The Artists at Marked have a lot of talent, they work hard, and take pride in their art. I highly recommend considering Marked for your tattoo projects. JP finished my sleeve and now i HAVE to go back because his artwork is so much better than my existing pieces.

Maya did my first tattoo and it turned out better than I could have hoped. I came from Oregon but Natalie made it so easy to organize, schedule, and plan. Everyone was easy to work with, professional, and kind. It was a very good experience and the atmosphere is wonderful! I would highly recommend Marked Studios! I did lots of research on different studios in the area and landed here, it was a perfect fit and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back for more pieces!

Couldn't be more happy and satisfied with Marked Studios and how they run things as a tattoo shop. They ditch the grime and casualness of a traditional run of the mill shop for a very professional and wonderful experience. The place really does feel more like a "studio" rather than a "shop". I had Shaun do my tattoo and he wasn't only excited for the piece beforehand (which made me more excited knowing my artist actually wanted to do my piece) but he was also the nicest artist I've ever had. I've been to multiple shops, mostly in Las Vegas where I'm from and every artist was just there to tattoo and make money. You can tell Shaun wants to make sure his client is comfortable, satisfied and doesn't feel like they're getting cheaped out. Great service up front, great care for the studio and great prices. I couldn't ask for more for a tattooing experience.

We had a great experience at Marked Studios. The shop is spotless, the staff all seem very skilled and professional. Natalie and Noel are 2 of the nicest people and our artist, Chris, is amazing. Very friendly and personable. He did exactly what we wanted (Mother/Daughter tattoo) and was not phased by our multitude of questions-being first timers! We will most certainly be going back to Marked for additional tattoos! :D
