Hispanic male that did a piercing for me went straight from a tattoo to my piercing without changing gloves. He was in a video call the whole time. Didn't bother to greet me at all. He unpacked the tools and didn't sterilized. He made the markings and was ready to poke without my opinion. At this time his phone camera was facing me in the middle of his video call and I was very uncomfortable. Been going here for about 8yrs. Very disappointed. He also estimated a 30min wait that turned out to be about an hr.

Let me start by saying I don't like writing negative reviews, but I also don't like poor customer service so here goes:

My coworker had recently got her tongue pierced at this location, and she gave good praise about this shop so I wanted to get my tongue pierced here as well. I called to confirm what time they stopped accepting walk-ins, and the lady who answered the phone didn't sound like she wanted to be there. She gave an attitude and wasn't very friendly. I had read reviews about the workers answering the phones rude and didn't think anything of it; I should have.

Upon arrival, we walk in to the employees back's facing our direction and we are greeted with, "Can I help you with something?", as an employee slowly turns around. Okay, at this point I'm starting to feel irritated but I brush it off and we tell them we want a tattoo and a tongue piercing. We are given the paperwork to initial, without much instruction of course. I read a part I didn't understand, so I asked the employee what it meant and he says, "just write your ID number and phone number at the bottom, it's fine." No, it's not fine if I'm asking about something on your consent papers. I brush it off again. Maybe they're having a bad day. Maybe someone died recently in their family, or they have a lot going on. We're human, so I try to sympathize but at this point it's starting to seem like he just didn't want to be there.

Next, we head to the back. All of the employees are literally watching something on a tablet or their phones. Okay, I get it. It's slow and there's nothing to do, but could you at least acknowledge their are actually customers in the shop? I guess not.

My coworker went first. She sat there for literally 3 minutes, and her small tattoo was done. Awesome, it won't take too long and I'm nervous as hell to have someone poke a hole in my tongue. I get up and walk to the piercer, he says, "one second I'm not ready yet". Okay, I'm sorry if I wasn't given instructions yet again. I thought you were ready. I wait a few minutes, and now he's ready. Perfect. I sit down andI tell him I'm very nervous, he tells me not to move and pierces my tongue. So you don't talk to your customers? You don't comfort them or try to make them laugh to ease their worrying? Alright, now I'm disappointed.

Piercing was done, and it did hurt a bit but not as bad as I thought. Only instructions I received for after care was to use mouth wash. That's it. No specific brand? Alcohol free? How long do I rinse? When can I change my piercing? NOTHING. I didn't ask him these questions because he didn't seem like he wanted to answer them anyway, so I ended up googling all of the information I needed myself. I did ask him his name before leaving and he replied, "Chris." I tipped because I always tip even if I receive a negative experience, but this will be the last time I'm so kind to bad customer service. Thank you for making it mostly pain free. I love my piercing, but I will not be returning to this location. Cheers.

Jessica was fast but she was shaking and hella rude and unprofessional didn’t give me instructions didn’t try to calm me down didn’t give me insight on anything I didn’t feel comfortable with her at all, another customer had to ensure me it was going to be ok. After it was done she just handed me a piece of paper and walked away. I was a bit dizzy and had to sit down she didn’t make sure I was ok at all. Than as I was leaving she was on the phone cussing someone out. Just don’t have her do your piercings frfr. I did ask for someone else but she was the only person there who did piercings and once you pay there no refunds and cash only 💕 stay safe and don’t see Jessica. Also my naval piercing came out bad, it’s slanted.
