First tattoo from Derek he pushed my appt time 3.5 hours back because the previous appt showed up several hours late and he still let him in. He didn’t even text or call to let me know.
Second time, he wanted to push the appt back again by several hours causing me to not be able to make it. Told me he had availability again another 2 months away. When I asked for my $100 down payment back, he refused to answer any texts or calls!
Never sketched anything for me, despite saying he would. Down payment was there from the start and had months to do even a rough sketch. Refused what I wanted (full body coiled dragon) after I’d already paid, instead saying he would only do a face portrait because that would let him add the most detail and he didn’t want anything less than his best watering down his portfolio.
This review follows him from his old job. I hope others’ experiences with Derek while working at Inner Vision match the shops raving reviews.

I was visiting from out of town and had been in contact with Danny weeks leading up to getting my tattoo. I was going back and forth with what I wanted. Danny was super patient every time I changed my idea. When I went to get the tattoo I decided on getting something smaller instead of my original idea because I couldn’t afford it at the time. However, I loved the unique design he did and it’s something I still really want. He told me that he saves everything he designs and won’t use it on anyone else. This meant so much to me because the tattoo I wanted was something I wanted in memory of my Dad who passed away in January. I still plan to get the tattoo and hopefully next time I’m back in Vegas I can make that happen. Danny was amazing and everyone else there was so friendly! Our Uber driver couldn’t find my friend and I after our appointments and some of the guys even helped talk to the driver so he could find us. Overall great experience with Inner Vision Tattoo and I can’t wait to go back and get my next tattoo!

I am very pleased with my tattoo!! Danny Valens gave me one of the best tattoos I ever had ( I have 6 others)! Danny listened to what I wanted and delivered!! The details are amazing!!! My son received his first tattoo also that day from another artist and he will say the same!!! Don’t go anywhere else for your tattoos!!!!

I didn't have any work done. I went to find the shop & try to meet Joe Riley, luckily he was there & I got to meet him and watch him work. The shop was nice, clean and everyone was sooo nice. I've been following him for a while now, I need to figure out exactly what I want so next time I'm in town I can schedule an appointment.

Had an amazing experience with Tim Lees he expanded an existing tatoo and made it so much better, he did an entire sleeve on my husband and I'm totally impressed! Definatly wont let my husband go anywhere else, Tim is worth every dime. Will continue to come back.

Jerry the owner was so great and made the experience memorable. John the artist was phenomenal. I got a behind the ear tattoo and he made sure it was exactly what I wanted. He was very caring especially since I was shaking so bad. I highly recommend.
