This is the best tattoo shop I've ever visited.
Whether your ink has a deep spiritual meaning or is simply a nifty design added to your body's canvas, it becomes you. The process of designing, finalizing, and getting a tattoo is taken very seriously by Jesse and his team: they provide great insight from how a tattoo will sit and age on your body to perfecting the tattoo design in such a way you'd think it was going on their bodies! It is a very laid back and relaxed environment and you immediately feel like you're among friends.
Jesse and his team are clearly dedicated to their art and you can immediately tell they take great pride in their abilities - as they well should! It is very rare to find a tattoo artist who is so talented over many different art styles, well-versed in different style history, and is great to talk and chat to while planning and getting a tattoo.
Ending with the ageless adage, a good tattoo isn't cheap and a cheap tattoo isn't good. Nuclear Ink may not be the cheapest shop around, but their quality and service cannot be beat. Honestly, with for the experience and end result, it's quite a deal.

I have gotten 2 tattoos here and do not regret my decision. Jesse was helpful in making me think about all aspects of my tattoos, even planning ahead on how to work in future tattoo ideas to the current ones. Quality is very high, and yes, it is more expensive than other shops, but you get what you pay for. When you want a portrait, it must be very precise and even a small mistake can make it look like someone else, and he made it dead-on. It looks like he copy and pasted the original photo to my arm. I made the mistake of going to another shop in omaha for my latest tattoo and relearned why he is the best. Get it done right the first time: buy nice or buy twice! I can not thank Jesse enough for a beautiful tattoo of my best friend who died too young. Almost 8 years later and it still looks incredible!

I'm surprised by the one star reviews... Jesse is calm, professional and talented. Nuclear Ink is awesome. I am very picky about tattoos and price is no object when it comes to them for me, and I always choose Jesse at Nuclear Ink. He is creative and takes my ideas and turns them into something amazing every time. He cares about the end product, and he wants the tattoo to look good forever. He will be honest and tell you that something won't look good, and there are times when he refuses to tattoo certain things the customer may want. He does that because he wants every one of his tattoos to look amazing in 50 years and he also has values. He could easily take everyones money who walks in the door but he turns down jobs if they conflicts with his values or if they want him to tattoo something he knows will not work out or look it's best. I respect that. I am paying for his knowledge and abilities. As far as price, I could get cheaper tattoos elsewhere, but I'm going to Jesse for quality... it's like getting a burger from Red Robin vs McDonalds. You pay more for quality. It's a tattoo, why wouldn't you want the best?

Jesse is incredible. He created a unique, one of a kind custom tattoo. He's not even finished yet, but I am thrilled with how its turning out. 100% recommended.

My family and I went to see some skateboards and check out some tattoo profiles as a last minute stop. Unfortunately we were not able to enter due to restrictions during the pandemic which is completely understandable, but they did accommodate us greatly by going above and beyond when showing us the boards. We ended up getting a completed longboard and getting a skateboard assembled for my daughter that was being a bit picky. Overall great staff and we will be coming back for our board and ink needs.

I went to this tattoo shop with an idea for a large tattoo that would cover most of my flank. The first draft the artist drew looked amazing, but it wasn't exactly what I pictured. I asked the artist if we could change a few things for a second draft - this is going to be permanent on me, so I want it exactly how I pictured it. He became angry with me and started cursing and yelling at me in the store. He told me to take my downpayment back, that he was sick of working with me. After letting him yell at me for a while, he then said it's not fair to give my my money back, that's not his policy, and asked if he could keep half of it. I said that was fine, because I just wanted to leave. The quality of his art was very good. His service was the worst I have ever experienced, and cost me $200 to get yelled at.

I was very happy with my experience. The shop is very clean, and Jesse was very professional. He's a fantastic artist, as well! I'm very pleased with the ink I had done.
